How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Not all areas were clean No common area if you do arrive early Seemed to have been shared with people who were living there long term Not passing travellers
We required an early check in and staff were accommodating as we had lots of luggage That it was next to a good restaurant and store so we could eat and be entertained for a while

The facility could use a deep clean, common areas are a little run down, the room itself was clean and comfy. The breakfast was a grab and go.
The staff (Thomas) was exceptional and was the reason we stayed. Great price for a one night stay.

Smell in hallway and room was not good, blinds did not work, shower did not get hot well, saw one bug and you could hear everything from your neighbors.

Bathroom was not well cleaned, there was mold around the bath tub. Accent chair was ripped all over one of the arms. Bed is small and not comfortable

There are many roosters living outside. They make noise from 4am to about 6 or 7. No chance of sleep.
There was no breakfast by 8am it was all gone.

Breakfast was over by 9am. Water pressure was really low. Iron leaked. TV was not a smart TV and couldn't connect to streaming services

The hotel is good, but the staff are impatient, rude and made a mistake with our service. We arrived on Sunday and paid for two nights, with check-out on Tuesday. On Monday, they left my pregnant wife and my son with autism out of the room, saying that the room reservation was not in our name, and that the payment was for only one day and in Antonio's name, for some reason they exchanged the room details with another guest and had to wait until they could get in touch with me. It took them about an hour to sort it out. Lack of attention and unpreparedness! Another issue is that they charge for my pet service, but there is no information about this on the website.
The positive points are offset by the poor service.

Location . Although it was close to Ft. Lauderdale, it was in a shiesty part of town. Lots of homeless people by the hotel and even one in the lobby !!! ?? The elevator and stairwell reeked of weed. Thank god the hallways and room didn’t .

One the nicest hotels in the area I can’t complain about anything the rooms have been newly remodeled it seems and they are spotless when you arrive

The only I can say is that there were young adult kids that hang out in the lobby and out by the front door constantly. I didn’t have any issues but it makes you feel a little uneasy but it wasn’t that big of a deal
The one thing I liked is that there is no deposit I have to wait to get back like the other hotels in the area. This by far was the best room out of the many other hotels I have stayed at in the area
