As many hotels do, they use eggs from a gallon carton for scrambled eggs. Just not nearly as tasty as cracked eggs.

The mattress in our standard king room was not up to hotel standards. Very old. The front desk manager told us they were in the process of changing all mattresses, but inventory and delivery was very slow.

Location & amenities were great. The breakfast options were many & gave us daily choices. The staff was very helpful.

The air conditioner in the room is a bit noisy.

The lobby is a beautiful, classy place to relax anytime, have an excellent breakfast (included), complimentary afternoon tea/coffee with great cookies,, wine or champagne also available for purchase throughout day/evening, and play cards or a board game, all with lovely music playing at just the right volume in the background. Heated pool and hot tub are nice as well. Corn hole and croquet also available. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Clean, nice room. Covered and outdoor parking available. Short drive to historic downtown.

It reminded me of an Italian villa. We have stayed there several times and will continue to do so. We love that place! It's definitely a diamond in the rough!!

Bed was lumpy and uncomfortable, so not a decent night's sleep. I'd rate this stay a 10+ if the mattress had been good.

Check-in was great. Lobby appearance is stunning. The surrounding forest is magnificent. My room was very clean. The shower was spotless, large, and very enjoyable. Breakfast was nice with wonderful pastry. Bacon overcooked, eggs did not seem real but there were chilled hard boiled eggs that worked well.

Photos of the rooms was somewhat deceptive. It showed a garden tub for the deluxe queen room which wasn’t there. Balcony was over a parking lot. Mattress was not the best quality.

Love the outdoor and pool areas. Staff was outstanding and friendly. Breakfast in the lovely lobby and breakfast room was excellent.

We love how beautiful the hotel is. Love the staircase, the whole decoration. The bed was very comfortable, we enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. The continental breakfast was very good. The best we had so far. The staff were very nice and professional. We will love to stay there in the future again.

Gorgeous yet homey. Pretty grassy areas to sit with my dog. Lovely pool and hot tub. Wonderful breakfast buffet with real cups and plates. Fresh coffee served all day. Almost forgot. Great staff.
