Having to leave!!

The room was exceptionally clean, the hospitality was unmatchable, the beach breathtaking, the pool beautiful and right on the beach, the beach towels for the pool a plus and Nell the hostess from Heaven!! I cannot say enough about our stay. Nell made sure everything was taken care of from the moment we arrived until we left. She went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. We will definitely book with Nell again!! I have been telling all my friend and family this is a great road trip from Jacksonville, FL for couples or families. This place is truly a hidden gem and Nell is a treasure!! Treat yourself and book The Flimingo Inn and tell Nell we said hello!!

There is no ice machine; however, the rooms have ice trays in the refrigerator and a full kitchenette, allowing for necessary adjustments.

Our stay was perfect. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room and motel as a whole were very clean. The motel is only 3 stories and does not have an elevator, so you will get your steps in. The building is tucked in, so some beach views are obstructed by another building; however, the view from the pool area makes up for this shortcoming. The pool is heated, and the patio area has a grill and great access to the beach. The parking lot is a little tight, but there is overflow parking right across the street. If you are looking for an intimate spot to stay, this is it. We will book again. Thank you, Nell!!!!!!

There's only two things that I didn't like was 1) no soda machine and ice machine.

Upon arriving, I was greeted by a beautiful lady named Nell. She is on the go all the time. This lady and the rest of the staff are professional as well and try their best to make sure your stay comfortable.Their pool is clean like their rooms. FANTASTIC!!!! THE BEST EVER!!!!

Nel was the best host/property manager I've ever experienced! She stayed late to accept our late check-in and immediately welcomed us like family! Our anniversary/ birthday celebration could not have been better! We stayed in the ocenveiw king room with kitchenette, I wish we could have stayed longer! We will be back asap!

The mattress would be my ONLY complaint! It was hard! But we dealt with it bc everything else was amazing!!!!!!!!!!

They cleaned our room everyday (I’ve never had a hotel mop the floors everyday) I can’t say enough good about this place!!!

The property was quiet, clean and great value! The staff were so accommodating and kind. We traveled with our baby and 2 dogs. We loved the cleanliness of the room and common areas, everything was so well maintained and the pool was really pretty with an ocean view!

The pool needs a little love

Nelly and all her team is outstanding they go above and beyond. The place is super clean, beautiful and cozy! It's a small little Hotel but everything was perfect. The pool needs a little love but the view is amazing, the grill and everything is awesome!! We are definitely coming back!

Absolutely nothing that I didn't like...

This is one of those places you don't want to review!! It's perfect! Small exceptionally clean I honestly can't say enough about the staff to do them justice.. From the moment we walked in to the front desk to check in we were welcomed like family... It's quite family and pet friendly the pool over looks the beach and has a grill for guests to use... This was our first stay of what I know will be many more to come... It's truly a hidden little jewel..

Just make sure you bring your own beach towels she doesn't like her towels to leave the room. Rooms are kinda small,but I promise the beds were so comfy.

Great locally owned small hotel. The owner was so sweet. We only stayed a night but we enjoyed the pool and being right on the beach. This is not like the big chain hotels all around. I would definitely come back. The Grandkids loved it as well.

Loved everything about it.

LOVED everything about the Flamingo Inn! Made a wonderful new friend in Nell, who keeps everything spotless and takes care of your every need. Our room was wonderful and extremely clean. The pool area is so nice and the walkways are mopped all the time! I’ve never seen that anywhere else. The beach in front of property is calm and quiet. Perfect location. This is the only place we will be staying in Daytona. Can’t wait to return!

The only negatives were no elevator, stairs only, tight parking lot and as clean and comfortable as the room was it was just a little dated compared to more modern hotels.

The staff was beyond excellent, very caring and polite. The room was incredibly clean, bed and pillows were comfortable, and the bathroom was very clean. The view of the beach from our balcony was pleasing.
