My specific room was in need of repairs. Bathroom door wouldn't open without force and wiggling. Very risky for solo travelers as no window in the bathroom to communicate for help. As with many hotels in the state of NY, overpriced especially in the weekends.

although the room looked clean, there were stains on the sheet. If sheets are washed and still stained, they should be thrown out. Room not very secure - only a chain and a lock in the doorknob. Did not feel safe. should provide written instructions on how to work tv remotes

Loud neighbors, loud cars, and staff walked in early one morning without knocking and left door open and room unattended another day….yikes

Checking in was a bit hap-hazzard. No one on site at the desk and phone number on website and phone number on a card at the desk had a full mailbox. Lucky the owner lives upstairs??? Had hot water in bathroom sink, but never got any in the shower (unit 30)

Room was small, but clean, with very comfortable bed. Had a small fridge and a microwave. AC worked well.

There was food that had been left in the fridge. Soda in the freezer. There was instant coffee . No coffee cups, just plastic water cups. No sugar, creamer, or stir stix . The good thing the Kwik stop was right.up the street, we got fresh coffee there...

This is a very old motel. Our room had been painted new tiles.. Clean overall, very pleasant.. The beds were very comfortable. The owner operator was very friendly and professional.

Place not as presented. Very tiny room with used condoms and other things in the drawer. Could not stay but was only refunded partially. Not fair

The room was NOT CLEAN: (1) there was a booger (nose-shit)on the blanket cover and it was disgusting！Called the property owner/manager and he gave me a new blanket cover. (2) There were a pair of eye glasses on the floor near window. (3) There was hair on 1 or 2 pillow(s). (4) There was hair in the bath in bathroom. (6) Before leaving I took a shower and wear my clean clothes and used disinfecting wipes to wipe my stuff. However，I felt itchy on different parts of my body at different times for whole day (Luckily it was gone next day). As a result，I had to throw away my socks，underwear and T-shirt I used when I stayed there just to be safer. (7) The pictures attached show (1) -(4).

Beds aren’t the comfiest. But they’re clean!

Doesn’t look like much from the outside but our room had new flooring, paint, and all new bathroom appliances. We were pleasantly surprised and would definitely stay again for a quick one night passing through.

The entry door was thick with gross dirt, grime and greasy finger prints. I don’t think that door/glass has been cleaned in a few years. The flooring in the room was also filthy although it was fairly new.

Location. We were attending a funeral the next morning. Bathroom Reno was nicely done. The bed linens were clean and fresh.

The room didn’t smell the best. Perhaps leftover cigarette smell from the days of smoking rooms.

Staff was super friendly. Room was clean and AC was refreshing.

So bummed - ended up with bites on us. Seemingly bed bugs. Proprietor was cordial enough when informed. Assured us he had the equipment to clean properly.

Very very clean Freshened up and bright Convenient location Excellent pricing Nothing fancy but perfect for anyone needing a bed for the night I booked this room (last minute) to attend a concert at Highmark Stadium based solely on price. We were completely surprised at the cleanliness and convenience. A nice easy drive back from the stadium. We were able to check in early. Pleasantly greeted upon arrival. I would definitely book here again !

My stay was from Feb 10-10, though I had made reservation through the 14th. I told man at hotel that I needed to check out one day early due to very bad weather coming and was told he could not help with that and I would need to talk to Booking.com, so I wasn't happy about that. Parking lot was not plowed, and I had to ask to have for someone to shovel around my car so I didn't slip on ice. He did do that for me. There was no hot water and when I called the number on the "office" door which was locked the voice mail was full and I couldn't leave a message. I did finally find the man who said I needed to leave the hot water running because there was no heat on this side of motel, eventually I did get hot water but had to leave it running for a long time. The man also made excuses because it was winter. I had to pull the large chair to feel more secure in the room. Positives: Greate new TV and Cable and microvalve and frig.

The heater kept blowing hot air even after we turned it down. Ran the water in the bathroom and got no hot water

It took us farther off the highway than I had expected. While we liked its homey charm, travelers used to more modern or upscale decor may be disappointed. My partner recalls there was something about the little phonebooth sized shower he didn't like, but maybe ijust ts size?

We really appreciated this old-style motel, with parking immediately in front of our unit. Easy in & out! The owner was very friendly, even affable, despite our late night arrival.. and the room was great! Next morning's drive eastward along this older highway (to get back to the Thruway) took us through cute communities, where I'd love to explore someday...

The place is dilapidated and falling apart. Looked like it has gone without any significant maintainence for many years. Pieces of trim around the door and window were missing. There were big open cavities exposing the internal framing. There were flies, probably due to the gaping holes in the wall. Chair, covered with grime and filth, could not be sat in. Things in the bathroom had filth in every crevice. Big discarded drink container left on the floor. Freezer partially filled with stuff left behind. No phone. TV did not work. Old, noisey AC unit. No clock radio. No security lock on door.

The room was quiet. Beds were comfortable. Sheets were clean. Location was good for us. Manager was friendly and helpful.

Very clean, basic room. Comfortable beds! We stayed in a similarly priced big chain hotel the previous night and the service here was much better!
