Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesOur toilet was broken and frequently refilled the tank. The noise was disturbing and wasted a ton of water. A person at the front desk told us it was easy to fix if we just lifted the tank lid ourselves... ???? Also, wish there were softer pillows...
Breakfast was very good. Only disappointment was that it ended at 9 on a weekday. We were on vacation and that's pretty early to lose the breakfast option. (Maybe most guests on weekdays in Yukon are there on business? We weren't.)

United StatesI paid for a King size bed but got 2 Queens. The TV remote buttons had to be mashed, and sometimes that caused me to hit the wrong thing. Itty bitty trash cans, so I had a pile of trash beside it. It was icy and there was salt on the driveway the first day, but I didn't see any the following days and it was very slick. Never did have bacon for breakfast. And not really the hotel's fault, but my last night there was a car alarm going off for 15 minutes when I was almost asleep and I couldn't go back to sleep for hours after that.
Everyone I interacted with was great. A nice amount of towels. I could sync my YouTube with the TV. The bed was comfortable.

United StatesSo gross, there were used pimple patches with blood on the shower shelf and half a vitamin just sitting ok the desk. Got a new room and there were still food crumbs on the floor. Obviously these rooms are not cleaned well. I am a solo female traveler and the front desk worker said which floor I’m staying on out loud in front of two male customers around midnight. There was also a gap under my door. I felt very unsafe.

United StatesThe only issue was getting charged by Booking.com and the hotel. The reason I was told by the hotel was that the booking code was wrong, so they charged me twice for rate. Instead of getting charged 124.10, I got charged 248.20. Which has been a pain to get corrected.
