I had an excellent stay at Stafford House. I was there for an event at the Eagle Bank Arena which was a less than 10 minute drive. Donna was the perfect hostess. The room was perfect and the breakfast was phenomenal.

This B&B was perfectly located for the autotrain to catch. I especially love the deep tub to decompress for travels. The proprietor was very attentive, caring to my needs. Breakfast was scheduled to my liking. It was very nourishing.

This is just a very small suggestion and maybe something you already do but forgot that day. But just a quick clarifying question if we would like our room tidied up while we were out and about. We are those people that often use the “do not disturb” sign in hotels and were taken aback when we came back to the room with our clothes folded up.

Perfect location right off the highway. Also close to the college and arena. They brought homemade breakfast to your room every morning. Also very well designed and updated bathroom.

Distance from DC but it was worth it. Thirty minute drive in traffic but that gave me time to decompress.

Spacious, Luxurious, cozy, off the path of traffic but a short drive to commerce. Warm and welcoming operator. Delicious breakfast.

There was absolutely nor one thing we didn't like.

The room and the decor was absolutely beautiful!!! Donna is the nicest person you could hope to meet and she does everything possible to make your stay perfect!!!! Breakfast was delicious and the jacuzzi tub is heavenly!!! This was our second visit and we will definitely be back!!!!

Donna was absolutely amazing and you can tell she put her heart into everything. Waking up to her breakfast, provided in the room was so tasty! The location was very close to some great restaurants as well. Some within walking distance and others within a 15 minute drive. We very much enjoyed our stay and shall return!

The hostess was absolutely amazing and ensred we were comfortable during our stay. The location was perfect. Many restaurants were walking location from the Bed and Breakfast allowing us to park the car and enjoy the town. Highly recommend this location.

The property was eight minutes from Eagle Bank Arena, where I was attending a high school graduation. it was easy to get to, and I had my own private entrance. The room was spacious, clean and a large bathroom as well. The hostess was welcoming and prepared a delicious breakfast.

It was far more convenient then I realized, being only minutes from a wide variety of restaurants but also shopping. We were doing research in DC archives and it was very close to the metro. The room was delightfully roomy and comfortable for relaxing and reviewing notes. Breakfast was amazing and my husband is still raving about the chocolate chip pancakes. Donna was attentive and thought of all our needs before we realized we needed them. I hope to return again, possibly when the pollen is less on the attack.

Location was excellent, super quiet. The layout of the space was so beautiful and can't say enough about the amazing bathroom (with fantastic jacuzzi tub). Loved the breakfast, which was delivered on a classic food cart by the kind and hospitable host.
