How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I had to walk 0.2 miles each time to go to by bedroom. Given the very few cars I saw on the parking during the 3 days, you could have given me a closer room

Breakfast was overpriced and hyped (oatmeal was packaged, yogurt was only flavored and sweetened, "hot" items were unappetizing). Fitness room-- elliptical worked okay but was very noisy, and cycle was impossible to adjust. I could not get a receipt for my stay since I booked with you instead of them.
The room was comfortable-- bed was great! The common facilities (patio area and inside area with the piano) were pleasant. Dinner food was very good. Waitpeople at both dinner and breakfast were pleasant.

Curtains don’t close, allowing outside lights to shine in when you are trying to sleep.

When we arrived the person at the front desk said we didn't have a reservation and I showed her a paper copy of my confirmed booking. she also was rude to my wife. She insisted I call the booking.com. Finally some one found the reservation . This is not what we expect. We had a wonderful last time

The shower is very difficult to work. LOUD squeak in bathroom door. The hotel needs an upgrade
Convenient to get to from rt84. Stayed there 16 yrs ago for a wedding.

No matter how many people are on line to check in or check out, there are system problems. Staff are nice but they need more of them.

I left a custom pillow and a remote for my fire stick. I tried calling several times. Only to be told that their cleaning staff was not available. Or they would call me back or email me and I never heard back. That was extremely disappointing.
The state and the property were lovely! The younger lady at the front desk was amazing. She was kind, considerate and really nice to have a quick chat with.

Needs some updates in bathroom.
The room was okay, a little outdated. Bed comfortable. They offered breakfast, did not try. They have a restaurant/bar onsite, food was good, reasonably priced, wait staff pleasant. Swimming pool onsite, did not utilize.

When I book they put me on the second floor. I asked if it was near the elevator because I had a broken leg. Then they put me on the first floor, but it was all the way across the building and a very long walk. Other than that, everything was fine.

the booking process was awful we called early to book a room with the zides party room blocked and the person we spoke to had NO CLUE..eventually i had to spend way more money going through booking.

They gave me a CONNECTING ROOM. which allows sound from the adjoining room to be heard. not a good setup. wish they had advised me about this, I would have requested a different room. Connecting rooms are always bad. Heating system is noisy. fan cycles off and on and off and on. so I had to leave it on, and use earplugs to mitigate noise. Bathrooms could use a nightlight; leaving the bright bathroom light on at night is not pleasant to see at 2am. Overall, it’s a nice hotel, but rooms need updating, and improvement.

The bathtub stopper was stuck in the down position resulting in water filling the tub during my showers to drain the water required a lot of consistent force on the stopper lever. I hurt my hand trying to hold it down long enough for the water to drain. I asked the staff to drain it when I left for work in the morning I arrived to find the water had not been drained. I ended up jamming a wash cloth under the stopper to keep it from shutting all the way But seriously why should I have to say, over and over that the tub wasn't working properly?
