Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesI didn’t like that things were listed on the website that weren’t available such as live music and food trucks as well as food and drink options were extremely limited. Guests were noisy walking around the property early and after 10pm.
The LOGE was a great location unique rooms.

United StatesWe can’t think of a thing other than offering simple food on site, especially for breakfast, so that we did not have to leave!
It was a lovely relaxed charming place. We decided to stay two nights so we could enjoy all the benefits of the setting. Everyone there, staff included seemed to be enjoying themselves and were helpful in every way.

United StatesMaybe add a moveable vent to the a/c unit so it can get a nudge to the side so it isn’t blowing on you when you stand at the sink. That said, the a/c worked GREAT on a hot weekend!
Great camp with hip vibes and comfy beds. Outdoor gear at easy access made for a wonderful weekend. Bikes, river tubes, outdoor yoga, fireside seating. All great! Staff had their hands full with a repair on our last day and communicated in a timely fashion via text with the residents. Very professional.

United StatesBathrooms are a bit dated and look dirty. Only porta-potties for bathrooms outside of your room.
Great location. Close to mountain biking trails, mt bachelor, and town. Bike rentals on-site, gas fireplaces to sit around, and hot tub. My kid liked the hammock.

United StatesThe bed is hard and too close to the floor. Everything else is amazing. Perfect for living a little spoiled in the outdoors. The staff are definitely there to assist, so let them. It was sad to see that the developers are putting housing up against a great retreat.

United StatesPastries are often empty, so don't count on them in the morning with your coffee. The A/C and heat tends to be a bit inefficient and run a lot.
Although the lodge is now well worn in, it retains a wonderful relaxed aesthetic for adventurers in the region. The location is superb for cycling the trails in the region, for cycling back into the city via a paved trail, for heading up to Mt. Bachelor for skiing. We love the hot tub. The lobby is super nice and the coffee very good. Great outdoor spaces for sitting, even in winter with semi enclosed areas if windy, gas heaters and fun seating at tables and couches. The gear available is great. Boot dryers, fridge, desk, hammock, all great accessories.

United StatesWe wish there were more places to hang our clothes. We were there when it was a lot of wet snow and rain. There is no place in the room where we can hang our damp clothes more than 1 or 2 jackets.
We enjoyed the nice location, dog friendly and nice bed. We love how quiet this place is day and night! Also, we love the boots dryer rack provided in the room.

United StatesNoisy. Dirty under the beds. Tub and sink had rings that hadn't been cleaned. Tha parking lot needs a major repair and resurfacing. They need longer hanging rods in the closet, 8" is a joke.

SwitzerlandThe room was somewhat outdated, and its location near the road resulted in considerable noise. It is far from downtown. You need to take a Uber to get to town. Additionally, I had no contact with hotel staff throughout my stay. The pictures on the website were more flattering than the actual room.

United StatesThe bed was in rough shape. My partner and I slept in a queen bed and it was concave in the middle. We kept waking up both rolled into the middle of the bed.
Location and layout were really enjoyable and conducive to meeting other folks staying at the loge. Although I didn’t use them I thought that it was great that as a guest you had access to so many amenities (bikes, pool, hot tub, fire pits etc.). This made the higher price worth it!

United StatesOne bed in the room was definitely sagging in the middle. The other one was good. Room 174 inner bed for reference. Otherwise we loved the surprisingly good instant coffee in the room (there was a pot to boil water that I forgot to mention. The only other thing we were thankful for was one of the staff giving us a better helmet when we rented the full suspension mountain bikes. Initially they wanted to give us ones that were not MIPS. Thank you for the team recognizing this was important. One recommendation is having a small broom in the room since there is not a daily cleaning service. Lots of rocky/sand/dust esp this time of year.
Fantastic locations, both to Bend (short drive) but for us we loved how close to the trails it was. The rooms were large (enough to be able to put our bikes in our room). We took advantage of their full suspension mountain bike rentals that was included in our $75 resort fee (4 day, 3 night stay). The room has a decent sized refrigerator as well as microwave. There was plenty of space in the room for 2 people to spread out their clothes, gear, etc. I think it would be crowed for 4 people (we rented the 2 queen bed room). Our bed was pretty comfortable however the bed next to us was sagging in the middle and definitely would not have been happy if that was the primary bed. The in room AC unit was working properly and with the cool mornings and evenings didn't really need it. The tub and toilet area was a bit small but appreciated the door and fan in the bathroom. Overall we were very pleased with our stay. You feel like you are in the woods (especially if get a unit close to the back) and it was very quiet overall. Loved the regularly visiting food trucks and live music on the weekend. Highly recommend.
