Because I booked through Booking.com the hotel had no ability to help me when we needed to change our reservation. Seems like they should have some connection that would have helped us. Trying to get anything done through Booking.com is mission impossible.

Great little life for the price. Beds were really comfortable. All we needed. The breakfast was much better than you'd find in most hotels at that price point or even higher. The eating patio was shaded and beautiful.

I loved everything about it. Very enjoyable stay!

Cute clean rooms with a Southwestern flair. The grounds are immaculate and the staff went out of their way to help you. The food was excellent. Lots of little places to sit and read or just relax. We will stay again!

Parking lot has been Very Rough for years. You Really bump over it very slowly, hoping not to hit your head on the roof of the car.

Great atmosphere of Old New Mexico... and their breakfasts are Legendary.

No where to sit except at a desk. No exhaust in the bathroom. Light bulbs need replacing.

It was just steps away from Taos. We could walk to the town of Taos. Close to great restaurants. The staff at the front desk were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was quite large with a good variety. The breakfast staff were so helpful.

The beds were less than comfortable, people staying above us were very loud when they’d walk up and down their room over and over again, and there are very limited outlets in the rooms, with limited access because the outlets are behind heavy furniture.

    The property is lovely.

We were there for 2 nights. Would have appreciated some light housekeeping to empty trash cans, change towels and make the beds. However, I was able to promptly get the clean towels I needed by calling the reception. The almond milk and 1% cows milk was only offered on the first day.

The large bedroom, the beautiful grounds, the fantastic breakfast, the location, most of the staff was very helpful. The breakfast offering had a great variety of items: tamales, great green and red salsa, beans, waffles, 2 different options for eggs, biscuits, gravy, different types of bread, fresh fruit, almond milk- only the first day, cows milk, Nutella, jams, potatoes, variety of teas.

The air conditioning unit is located on the wall adjacent to the sliding glass doors, which would seem to be far enough away from the bed, but actually it is quite uncomfortable to run the A/C unit since the vents blow cold air directly at the head of the bed. Fortunately it was cool enough to open the sliding glass door to let in the night air through the screen, otherwise I would have slept with my head at the foot of the bed to avoid cold air blowing on me. Even running the lowest speed on the fan (no A/C) was too annoying.

We've stayed at El Pueblo Lodge on numerous occasions when traveling with our small dog. This is an older property with a lot of charm. We usually book one of the "viga ceiling" rooms with a king bed and sofa, and the room is quite spacious. We appreciate having a small refrigerator and microwave. The bed and pillows are comfortable enough. The bathroom area is small, and the water pressure could be better but there is plenty of hot water. There is a good variety of breakfast items and you can always count on getting eggs, tamales, beans, breakfast meats, cereal, yoghurt, breads and fruit. There is a self-service automated coffee machine that also provides hot water for tea and it is available at any time of the day. The rooms in the back are very quiet (not sure about rooms closer to Paseo del Norte, the main road through town). We've never used it but there is also a hot tub. The location is great, only a few blocks to the main plaza. This property charges $25 for a pet for a one or two night stay; the rate increases for longer stays. The staff is also really friendly and helpful.

The staff went over and above to help. The chocolate chip cookies at check in were a nice touch. In the evening, there were chips/salsa and green chile soup. And the breakfast was lacking nothing!! The grounds were green and relaxing, the room beautiful.

    Cannot think of anything.

Loved the spacious, well-kept grounds, with big trees, lots of shade. Probably the best hotel free breakfast two green chile lovers could have hoped for, with spacious outdoor seating areas available. Staff were friendly and wonderful to deal with. Room was big, immaculate, finely furnished, and everything worked. They welcomed us with our small dog for a reasonable extra pet fee. We liked the very walkable distance to the central Plaza area.

    Hmmm…. Nothing

I loved the breakfast. I loved the outdoor patio dining area. I loved the horseshoe court and the corn hole game set, which we played, and the Adirondack chairs in the grassy area. I loved the fact that there were real keys, and the room was fully stocked with everything needed. Our experience there was all together wonderful. Thank you for providing an affordable, attractive place to stay.
