How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The property and room are run down. In 1970 it was probably a new motel.

Fridge was not clean, neither TV worked, and room smelled. Evening stuff made no effort to help with TV other to say try this.

The facility is somewhat worn. The mattress is well beyond its "best by" date, the AC clunky and noisy, the floors heavily worn. But, hey, its a budget hotel, so you get what you pay for and none of this is unexpected.
Staff was polite and location was convenient to the airport. Clean room and clean linens. And you can actually open the windows.

Room 127 was very clean and just what I needed for the price. Also got a wake up call. Enjoyed the airport parking privileges - great rates, and to & from airport shuttles.

Rooms have old furniture, appliances and beds. All need to be updated. Refrigerator leaking water all over the place.
Convenient. Inexpensive parking. No crowds. No confusion. Staff friendly, informative, accommodating. Room was clean, and spacious.

The hotel was in very poor condition. The rug in the hallway was disgusting. The room smelled like old cigarettes and beer. The heat registers were rusty and falling apart. The bed was old and one side had a huge dip. It was very gross.
It was close to the airport. We stayed there so we could catch an early flight the next day. The front desk staff were very nice and helpful. They deserve praise.

Bathrooms need to be thoroughly cleaned. Wipe down walls and doors, wall plates, and light switches. Blow dryer was so dusty I couldn't use it. I couldn't put the house phone to my face for it was very dirty like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. Rugs were dirty and old in hallways
I like it being so close to the airport.

A lot of furniture were dusty. Lamps, ice box, etc. etc. seemed never cleaned.
The bed was pretty comfortable, the bathroom was renovated and clean. The early shuttle was super convenient.

Hair Dryer would not stay plugged in because the outlet was so old. In general, every thing needs updating. But it served it's purpose, a bed, close to the airport with a 24 hour free shuttle.
There was no breakfast (signs say this was stopped during Covid. There was coffee in the lobby which I did not partake. I arrived, checked in, and then returned my rental car. The person checking me in explained how to access the shuttle back from the airport. Shuttle service was excellent

No elevator and my bag was heavy, had to carry it to the second floor. Expensive for the type of facilities

The facility is very dated and needs some upgrading. The air conditioners are very old window units and the first room's air conditioner did not have an on/off button, so they moved me into a second room where the air conditioner did not have a power button at all whereby they had to move me to a third room that finally had an air conditioner that worked.
The location is outstanding as it is right next to the main airport. There are also a few restaurants in the area that were good. Access to the facility is also a huge plus as it's great. The beds are great and very comfortable.

Small cockroach in refrigerator

I guess it could be cleaner.
So close to the airport. You can see the airport from the hotel. The bus shuttle from and to the airport was easy. The front desk night and day lady were so friendly.

Hallway carpet was dirty in appearance. Stairway rubber treads were bleak.
Cleanliness of bathroom and bed sheets. Ease of connecting to WiFi. Efficiency of check in and out. Shuttle service.

Apparently the $100 "amenities " charge, which was more than the stated cost of the room, has been charged to me and not refunded as we were assured. We didn't do anything to warrant this, we will not stay at an Econolodge in the future.
