The rooms have fridges but NO MICROWAVES!! When I inquired, I was told that they "can't have both." Instead, there is a communal microwave in the lobby. When I pointed out that the website indicates both, I was questioned... seriously?? So guests are expected to heat up whatever and then carry it back to their room. They did say they "might have a small microwave available for the room, but only on request. Additionally, there are no towel bars in the bathroom. So, when showering, the only place for the clean bath towel is the floor. When I asked about that or a grab bar to use when stepping out of the shower, I was told only the ADA rooms have any kind of bar. What an incredible liability!! Would i stay here again?? Possibly. But I would at least be prepared for their lack of amenities.

The next morning I went to get an additional key and apparently they had someone else registered in that room. They couldn’t find my paperwork -it was odd, made me feel that they could have given a key to my room to someone else. It got sorted out but definitely a bizarre situation.

Unfortunately, people in the next room and nearby rooms were so loud. Slamming doors many times. There seemed to have 3-4 adults and a kid, among them, 2 older adults shouted to each other and another guy talked loud to the kid, all night long until 1:30 AM.

We did not know that the room or hotel was renovated. The spacious room, bed, bathroom were so nice, new, modern, and clean.

The one thing that would have been nice to change is to be able to turn all the lighting off on the patio. It made it too bright to be able to have the curtains open and door open. It would have been nice to have the cooler air naturally rather than the A/C. There was a coffee maker in the room but no coffee cup. So there are still some improvements but the property is coming together

The remodeled room was beautiful. The view was beautiful. The bed was very comfortable. This was just a wonderful time to get away from some stress from last week.

Apparently they were short on cleaning staff and rooms weren’t ready at checkin. Front desk person was very stressed and unfriendly. Check-in was slow. A/C didn’t cool well but we were able to sleep with the balcony door open.

Our large, updated room was clean and comfortable. Parking is plentiful. The office has a nice coffee maker for guests. Location offers easy access to groceries, peaceful river view, and quiet despite its proximity to Hwy 101

The window in the room was open. My daughter and I notice a smell, not horrible but maybe from the remodeling. We were fine after being in the room for a few minutes.

Rooms on the second floor are very big with high vaulted ceilings.the rooms looked to be updated very tastefully. great to walk out of the back on the hotel and sit on a viewing dock. Great German restaurant very large portions come hungry. Safeway grocery store right next store if you simply need to stock up for your road trip up the coast

There was no breakfast included and I couldn't request an upgrade of the rooms even after I said I would pay for the upgrade.

The location at coos bay is great, its within walking distance from restaurants and in the same plaza as Safeway. Comfortable beds and plenty of parking too.

The remodeled room was beautiful. It felt very fresh and comfortable. The building could use an elevator. I was also disappointed that breakfast was not included. However, they have a fantastic coffee machine for regular and fancy coffee. We enjoyed our stay.
