Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesBecause there was no wifi in the property (which had been disclosed during booking) access to the Internet was very spotty and it was difficult to communicate with the management company via txt messages. There is wifi available at their "business center" but outside of normal business hours the door is locked and you have to stand on someone else's driveway to connect to the wifi. Not ideal and the connection was not great. The house could use some upkeep. The outside could use a paint job and the grounds need some cleanup. Indoors was generally fine although the decor is quite dated. The main issue we had was that on the last day we couldn't open the door key lock. Fortunately, there was someone at the office and they drove over to open the door for us. It appeared that the key lock just malfunctioned. If it had happened in the middle of the night it would have been a much bigger issue.
Good location, near Glacier Point and Yosemite valley (20-30 minute drive). It does take about 10 minutes to drive from Highway 41 to the house which is a bit unfortunate but okay. The house was clean and had all the basics we needed for a few days stay. Nothing fancy but all the essentials are covered.

United StatesThe driveway and the stairs are quite steep - hard for people with bad knees. Probably a bigger issue in the winter, when the roads are icy, but otherwise just something to keep in mind
The location is spectacular, easy parking and easy to get to Glacier Point, Wanona and the Valley. Yosemite West is very quiet, and with very little light pollution - perfect for stargazing. Also, the view in the morning is spectacular from the patio. This property does not have wifi, and only Verizon kind of worked in a corner of one of the rooms. We enjoyed the digital detox, but it might not be for everyone.

CambodiaI don't think i have one. As we loved how peaceful and full privacy the private cabin is located.
Fast and easy check-in and checkout. Cabin is super clean and has almost everything. Except for cooking oil, BUT, upon checking with the management, they quickly helped bring it to us even though it's not being included in the offer, so we can cooking our dinner n the rest of the stay. very kind indeed, and superb hospitality.

DenmarkWhen you arrive late evening, it is dark, no lights on many steps leading up to property and a very steep driveway. Sensor lights should be installed immediately! Update sheets and towels to all white.
Nice kitchen and spacious

United StatesFloors were dirty and not clean. Towels had a strange smell. Cabin was all the way at the bottom of Yosemite West with no view and a long drive down. No WIFI and phone signal was non-existent at the location making it hard to communicate with our tour guides/photographers, etc. Extremely overpriced and expensive for what we got.
Cabin looked pretty cool, like a cabin in the woods. House was spacious with sufficient pots, pans, and plates to cook at home.

United Kingdom1. The constant ‘guidance’ of implied threats and fines throughout the property - from taking out the trash, starting the dishwasher, to leaving towels out. Felt like we were nothing but a walking check book that was ready to be exploited and did not put us at ease. 2. The property has no ground level access. Which means all suitcases, bags and food must be taken up an external staircase three flights. The property does have access, but it is kept locked, which is ridiculous. 3. The property is in a clear state of poor upkeep and a going concern compared to its contemporary neighbours. It’s clear it needs a luck of paint, some sensible styling (rather than the ramshackle ornaments that are thrown together), old style intercom on the walls, no usb ports, no internet. For the price, it seriously needs some TLC. 4. The code to enter is in an email that is sent 24 hours before. Considering that we were travelling with no coverage for those 24 hours, it became a real challenge to enter the property. It was also not clear from the guidance that there was no Internet or cell coverage, so how can visitors open links or call?
The location is great for Yosemite
