How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewDidn't stay. But staff was great and helped cancel our room
Sketchy people hanging around. Probably a hotel used for locals. Was afraid my car would get broken into if we stayed.

Verified reviewRoom was small but ok.
When one walked into the bathroom, he had to go around the toilet to get in the room, very small. No breakfast.

Verified reviewThere is NO BREAKFAST! They recommend the Waffle Restaurant across the street. There is a small refrigerator and microwave in the room. Also a coffee maker but it does not make a great cup of coffee. You're better off bringing your own instant coffee.
When I checked in around 9:00 in the evening, there were only two room choices as it was fully booked. Staff is very friendly but the good ended there. The room I took on the 2nd floor instead of the 1st floor was by a bright light. Hundreds of bugs were around the light and flew into the room when I opened the door. I spent 1/2 hr trying to kill the bugs and mosquitoes. The door had a large gap at the bottom and I had to use a towel to cover it up. The AC was VERY loud and kept waking me up. The curtains were stained and dirty. Bed was ok but the bathroom tub was not clean enough. No toilet paper on the wall (fortunately there was an extra roll above) and only two tissues in the tissue box. No bath mat. Bathroom fan was loud and dirty. Furniture was very worn. I checked out at 6 am after a shower (water pressure was OK). I won't stay there again and Wyndham is not doing their brand any favors with this location.

Verified reviewThere is no breakfast offered. Went across the street to the Waffle restaurant and the food was okay but we ended up with $92 bill for 2 adults 3 children. As for the motel, the room was clean and comfortable with a nicely remodeled bathroom. The manager is super nice and helpful. There is no ice machine so he gave us a bag of ice in the office. This is an old motel needing a lot of exterior maintenance, but is nicely located off I-5 and a good value.
Parking is not easy---wife got our van boxed in by a long F350 truck and called on me to back it out and down the ramp to the front of the motel. We had to haul everything up outside stairs to the second floor as there is no elevator. There is a 3rd floor as well---that would have been a tough climb (I am 87 and wife is 78).

Verified reviewThe best thing was the location seemed to be easy access.
Klamath Falls is one of the foulest smelling places. The moment we got out of the car it smelled and when you check in, they warn you about bugs that can fly into your room. They were flying around all outisde the room.

Verified reviewGood value for large, clean room. Manager was very friendly and they accept pets for an additional fee.
Bed was a bit soft for my taste but still comfortable.

Verified reviewFriendly staff. Decent price.
Motel looks nice from the front. Then they sent me around back. Not inviting. Weekly or monthly folks living there. Kind of sneaky. I guess the jokes about motel 6 are deserved. That was my last stay at a motel 6.

Verified reviewThe front desk staff were delightful people; friendly, warm, accommodating and helpful. The location is great as you can just walk into downtown Klamath for coffee of dinner or whatever. Also close to the water and a park.
It's a really old building and although there have been updates to the rooms themselves, you just cant get away from the fact that it's old and run down. The air conditioner was loud and you could hear people talking in the parking lot, the bathroom is small, etc. Although the location is close to the downtown area it also feels a bit dodgy; partly because it's in the older more run down part of town. For one night while on the road it totally met our needs and the price was right.

Verified reviewA no-frills place to spend the night when traveling through. Good location close to a park by the river which we appreciated especially traveling with our dog. But very thin walls and noisy neighbors
A lot of noise from neighboring units.

Verified reviewI was surprised how nice the location of the hotel is. It's located on an upper elevation in the city. We stayed in a limited mobile room and the its so spacious. Like literally the bathroom can fit one bed. I like that the flooring is not carpeted. Would definitely recommend this hotel!
Limited parking.
