We had corner room in back. Parking was very tight and hard to maneuver. Room had one trash bin in bathroom, no other.

There are no net curtains, so you get either daylight or privacy. Get a room upstairs, or you will hear people walking above you the whole time.

If you rely totally on GPS you could end up at the wrong location. We were unaware that there are 2 Trailborns 2 miles apart from each other. You need to check if you're at the Outpost or not because that will make a difference in which one you're staying at.

All the soaps and lotions are of very good quality! Looks locally made and uses clean ingredients. Pillows are big, firm & comfortable. Love the built-ins for closet space & built-in seating. The air conditioner works great, with very strong airflow. I appreciate the bedside tables. Easily outlets for charging cords.

The room or two below us literally partied all night. We had a REALLY hard time sleeping through all the noise of the music and the many people present in the rooms. We asked staff about it in the morning and they said no one would answer the door when they went to check on the party, but we were a little put off that nothing else was done, including calling the police for noise disturbances, possibly underage drinking, etc. We were not offered any discount, extras, or anything even though we barely slept.

We liked that both Trailborn locations had related perks, and the facilities were very nice. The rooms were smaller, but tastefully decorated.

Very little food for breakfast. 1/2 our family had to go somewhere else to get something to eat and that was at 8 am.

The breakfast never had silverware and the bread/ English muffins were left out and hard. Or when we got there about 9 both mornings. It was either already picked over and not refilled or it was just not refilled to begin with. The lady at the counter apologized but was unable to fix and they were still waiting for someone to bring more supplies/food.

There was lots of noise from the room above. Older buildings have little sound proofing. The pool wasn't open, our room door was at the bottom of the stairs going up so we had people bumping/brushing our door at all hours. The bathroom vanity area light didn't work unless the main room light was on.

I liked the location and ease of getting to where we wanted to go. There was a small soft sided cooler in our room for our use which was very handy. the room was very spacious.

Breakfast was poorly stocked with very limited choices. Pool was dirty. Entering and exiting location to highway was risky and steep.

Even though you have 2 properties within a mile of each other they should each have their own amenities for each hotel separately unless they both have the same amenities which they don’t. The included continental breakfast was at the other location so we would have to get in our car and travel?? That cuts into our vacation time. We didn’t go for the breakfast at all. We paid for breakfast which we thought was included at our hotel. Also our hotel didn’t have an ice machine. We could use the provided cooler but there was no ice to put in there. We were told we could go to the other hotel and they would fill it. I also did not feel our bed was the best but not bad. He said they were new so maybe there was something wrong with the way it was set up.

Newly remodeled very nicely. The young man at the front desk was very nice and helpful. Loved the hand soap and bath products. Loved the books in the room as well as having a cooler available for us in our room. That was very handy

Unfortunately I can only cite the feedback of others: the room was not clean and the property lacks care and attention. I found hair of about 4 different persons (both in the bathroom and bedroom). The furniture (a bench) and in specific the sheets had large stains on them. It wasn’t possible to even enjoy a view of the mountains because the windows were so greasy and dirty. Breakfast was not available as it was apparently not delivered.

This is a nicely renovated hotel in Estes. It offers a lot of opportunities. Staff is friendly.

We booked the Outpost because I have severe arthritis and can’t do steps well, but without asking we were put in the other hotel which had steps, which made it difficult.

Breakfast was nice.The coffee was fresh and very good. The other location had the restaurant which we tried and was also very good.

I left the keys inside the room and had to wait (after a weeding around 11:00pm) and go look for the person in charge to the other hotel (reception was locked & empty) to remind her to come and help me open my room, it took about one hour. The hotel needs better office management and having that great view of the mountain is hard to see with a dirty glass door. Otherwise location is great and beds are comfortable.
