There were a few eateries and fuel stops right there which was convenient and easy parking at different enttances to the hotel. We were glad we were on the first floor as no lift. Liked that there was a self serve breakfast on offer. The bathroom was a great size too.

No complaints, except maybe the breakfast could have had more choices.

Breakfast was okay, not great. Room was very nice and clean, kids enjoyed the pool. The beds were very comfortable. Our very well behaved female doodle was with us, we were charged $20 to have her there, which was fine.

Breakfast was a little on the light side especially if you didn't get there when it was first offered. Front desk could have been a little more pleasant. Just a tad grumpy but we worked around it.

Room was good, clean and comfortable. Bed was comfortable. Cleaning staff was quite helpful with needed supplies. Shower was good with hot water.

The breakfast burritos were delicious. The coffee wasn't so good. The woman who checked me in was very helpful, even to the point of carrying my suitcase upstairs.

We didn't like that it was difficult to get our luggage to our room due to the large trucks with hitches backed into the parking spaces. We did not like that we could not see our car from the room. Breakfast was not what we had expected.

Location was out of town , didn’t realise till we arrived, no restaurant on site but one adjacent. The restaurant is an Indian curry house. Ok if you like curry, but if you don’t it’s a drive into town.

Breakfast was self service , make your own waffles is always good! Coffee was good. Room was clean and spacious, comfortable bed.

I was concerned that the hotel was next to railroad tracks & Pilot service stations. Lots of truck traffic. You couldn't hear any noise inside of hotel. Hotel was convenient to freeway. Breakfast was standard. Lots of choices.

The low flo shower heads are aggravating. I don't remember them being installed last year. They don't really save water if it takes you twice as long to shower.

Breakfast was good. The burrito was the best. It saved us money on an expensive cafe alternative. We also made peanut butter sandwiches for later. Great for taking to the loop.

Our first time in Tehachapi for a retirement party at a local Pub. One night stay. Hotel staff was super friendly and welcoming. The grounds and room were very clean. Although you can tell this hotel is older, it has been renovated well. Some issues identified were very minor and acceptable. The room (120) television remote was not working properly, making it hard to change channels, volume, etc. When the TV was turned on it automatically went to full 100% volume up. Made it a bit annoying. The complimentary breakfast had very limited choices, which was discouraging. But the food that was available was good and area was very clean. Suggestion: time to change out the old Best Western trashcans with logos still visible. Housekeeping should cut down on the strong smelling chemicals (Fabuloso i think), however it ensured room was clean. So it was worth it. We would definitely stay here again as it had better reviews than most local hotels and great value!

The flooring was not well laid, with gaps between the planks. Although it is very near the highway, it is outside of Tehachapi.

Newer hotel just off the highway. There was an Indian restaurant just next door that had very good food. Clean room and spacious.

Snow had not been shoved off the main entrance by the time we arrived there in the late afternoon. I had to crawl under a table to get an outlet with sufficient room for phones and tablets.
