How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewThe front desk staff during operating hours were incredibly sweet and personable! They went above and beyond to make my stay smooth — making sure I could leave my luggage since I arrived early and even placing it in my room so I could go straight up when I returned. Honestly, she was one of the best parts of my stay!
While the stay overall was fine, I do think the photos of the property are a bit misleading. The pictures give the impression of a modern, minimalistic, and chic interior, but in reality, the hotel is older and somewhat dated. It looks like certain areas were repainted, but there are clear signs of age — some rust in the bathroom and older fixtures in the bedroom. For a single traveler and considering the price point during a major event weekend, it served its purpose and was functional. However, be aware that the photos don’t reflect the current condition accurately; it’s a small, simple, dated facility rather than the modern vibe the images suggest. Additionally, for light sleepers, it’s important to know that the hotel is in a lively, festive neighborhood. Even on a high floor, I could clearly hear nightclub music, traffic, and street noise. The walls are thin, so if you’re seeking a quiet environment, this may not be the best fit.

Stayed on a Friday night and the noise from the street below and other guests closing doors at 2am wasn’t great.

Verified reviewThe room is small, but has everything you need - a microwave, mini fridge, coffee machine, toiletries. The view from the window was stunning both day and night! The bed is quite comfortable. But it was very high (I'm 160 cm) haha it was strange 😁 Whole foods is nearby and great coffee is in the same building. So you don't need anything else in terms of food. Important - online registration, and a photo of the passport and the card with which the room was paid is required. It's good that we took this card! In general, it was not very convenient to take photos of the card and passports on the road
The roof wasn't open all our stay, it's sad but not critical. Also we didn't understand how the cleaning works, they didn't change towels and did not clean for 4 nights. Perhaps we should have asked, but we didn't. Perhaps cleaning is once a week or upon request. So don't forget to ask 🙂
Thank you for your stay!

Verified reviewThe space is nice and the rooms are fine. Comparable to most hotels at this level. Noise was low and the beds were comfortable. I've stayed here a few times.
The booking staff was awful. I messaged them ahead of time when I found out my partner and I tested positive for covid. I asked about rescheduling or cancelling. I did not have a refundable reservation and so I expected not to be refunded, however they were blunt, rude and completely unconcerned about covid protocol. They even continued to robo-text me about checking in after I canceled the reservation. I assumed they did not update the info so I called them directly. Whoever answered had zero interest in making the situation better or even pleasant; abrupt, rude and lacking any empathy or understanding. I'll spend my money elsewhere on a place that at least pretends to give a shit.

Verified reviewAdequate little hotel, facilities were fine and bed was really comfy. Had very little contact with staff but when I did they were nice enough.
Despite being very thoroughly advertised as a hotel with a roof terrace (which we had undoubtedly paid a premium for), we arrived to find that the terrace was UNDER CONSTRUCTION. This was not communicated to us in advance, or even at check-in - we only found out upon trying to go up there, and the hotel staff seemed indifferent to the issue. This was my only gripe and the hotel itself is actually fine, I just think it is very serious false advertising.
