Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United StatesI didn’t like that during our stay the rooftop was closed and we weren’t given any prior notice. It’s one of the main reasons I picked this hotel. I also didn’t like the amount of noise you can hear from outside in the rooms. Not that this is the hotels fault, but is something to be mindful of.
I like that this property is very hassle free. Super easy check in and out, don’t have to wait forever with front desk, and no need to worry about losing a hotel key. I also really like the location. Good walking distance to a lot of places but also a lot of train stations nearby for farther travel throughout the city.

United StatesThey only hold your bags until 3 p.m. so if you have a late train or flight you're kind of out of luck The rooftop, which was the main reason we booked, was closed for renovations for the month (in the middle of the summer?). The basement was also "under construction" and the rooms were too small to really hang out in. All common areas in general were in rough shape - for example, there was a coffee pot and coffee, but no stirrers or napkins or lids or place to sit and drink said coffee! The gentleman who manned the front seemed like he wanted to be anywhere but there and was not helpful. (The lady from the first day was great)

DenmarkThey are charging for extra cleaning during your stay, but when we came it looked like they didnt really clean it upon arrival😕 it was dusty and not vacuum (hair on floor everywhere). Not quite nice welcoming 😕 What was really, really dissapointing that we had chosen this particular hotel because it has roof top terasse, but we came and it was closed for one month. Feel not fair to us to not to be informed or offered any compensation

United StatesThe location was fantastic, and the room was generally nice, although it could use some renovations. There was rust around the bathtub faucet, and while the beds were adequate for resting, they weren't very comfortable. Additionally, some areas of the wall had been plastered but not repainted, and the top cover on our bed had a couple of dime-sized stains.
This boutique hotel is mostly self-service, but two employees stood out with their excellent customer service. Jasmine at the front desk and Gabína the housekeeper promptly provided washcloths when I needed them. Jasmine was also very helpful with any questions we had. A major shout out to her! The rooftop is definitely the highlight of the hotel!

United StatesMy room was on the first floor, right next to the lobby, directly across from the elevators, coffee stand, and near the entrance. It was very noisy, with constant foot traffic and conversations, and I had little to no privacy. I asked to switch rooms, but the hotel was fully booked and couldn’t accommodate the request, which was a major downside for me.
The location is amazing — right in Midtown and just a 2-minute walk from the Subway, which made getting around the city super easy. Although the room was very small (typical for NYC), it had everything I needed. The hotel also offers nice perks like free snacks, coffee, and ice. One of the highlights was the rooftop patio with great views.
