Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe remote did not pair up with the television in suite. Could not select what to watch.
Great location next to the Main Street. Excellent pool and spa there next to grill and fire pit.

United StatesWe did not care for the TV service. It was too confusing to use. We watched things in the evenings by using my laptop with its connection to the internet.
The staff were very friendly and took care of the AC problems we occassionally had right away. The location was beautiful and within walking distance of the main town. We really liked the patio and could park right next to our room, the Autumn room. There were nice places to sit out by the pool area.

United StatesA few little ants wandered into the unit while we were staying there. Not a major issue, but maybe something for the Host to keep in mind. The pool wasn't heated, but if you visit during warmer months such as the Summer or Fall you probably will enjoy the pool as it is! The spa was heated and worked well for us so we enjoyed using the spa. We visited near the end of April, which was a lovely time of year to visit Julian. A couple of other comments: there is one room with a pull-out bed that may have been an add-on room. It doesn't have any vents so the room doesn't get heated when the heater is on. So that room remained cold. We didn't need to use it because our babies used pack-and-plays in the master room with us, but it may need a portable heater or some other source of heat to remain warm at night for others. Oh and maybe the host could just leave one extra set of Linens in the Master room in case to change the bedding if need be. And the mattress in the Master room was a little bit soft and lumpy for our preference, possibly a new mattress for the Master room is warranted. These are mostly all minor comments. Overall, we loved our stay at Eaglenest very much!! : )
Our Family had a really great experience staying here at Eaglenest. We stayed in the Spring Suite (upper unit). Zora, the host, was wonderful and kind and helpful. The property has all you need for a very enjoyable stay. The kitchen was well-equipped. Only a couple items it didn't have (which didn't bother us) were a toaster and a baking pan for oven usage- so if you want to have these, you may need to bring them separately. But it had some brand new appliances such as the Ninja coffee maker with a reusable filter cage and a Ninja blender. The host had left some coffee and creamers for us too which was really nice! The appliances and everything including the fridge were very clean. And the layout of the unit was great for our family of 4 to spread out and feel like we all had plenty of space! We loved our stay at Eaglenest!

United StatesIt was clean and very comfortable. The room had a gas fireplace and an outdoor patio. We didn't make it down to the pool, but it looked good. Just 2 blocks off Main Street, but be aware that going back is uphill!
