Initial owner lacked any respect when replying to initial arrival.

The place really roomy. Plenty of space and clean. Also a breaker was tripped late evening on sat night and a maintenance worker came late hours and got things working again

Political signs on home. Odd layout, no privacy for second bedroom. No kettle. Sagging mattresses on both beds.

Not one thing could be better!

Once again, the apartment exceeded expectations. It is clean, well appointed, with easy access and excellent communication from the hosts. The bathroom towel rack broke, and I offered to fix it; the hosts took care of it for me.

Where do I begin. First we got there later than expected. We are from California and drove in from Chicago. We rented both units. When we got there we got into one unit perfectly and tried the other and the code did not work. As it was late and we had no where else to sleep we tried the phone number to no avail. When we called Booking.com because we didn’t have the correct code they could not help us. Finally after looking around we found a contact number from the maintenance person and found out they changed the code but no one contacted us. They then acted like it was our fault because we were late. When we walked into both units they had plug ins everywhere, it was overwhelming. We had to unplug them and leave the door open to take out the smell. Once that smell left we realized why. We finally settled in and went to sleep only to be woken up by stomping up and down stairs, women talking and laughing right next to a door that is in one of the bedrooms. This was early, it went on for about 20 minutes, then the wash machine started. They claim it was in the basement but it sounded right next to the door. PLUS BONUS construction, which we were not informed was happening started before 8am. It was loud and shook the house constantly. Well now we are up! Oh wait, I forgot, there was an animal running in the vents. I am positive it was a skunk and I think we scared it because then we smelled skunk in the kitchen. When I contacted the company again he was rude. They got their money and it was graduation at MSU. Next was Saturday, graduation day. Now we experience NO WATER. For hours, Chris the property contact did nothing. Now granted it was not his fault be didn’t call, didn’t bring water so we could flush the toilets, I was panicked as it was graduation day. The only outlet in the bathroom didn’t work! Ants on the kitchen furniture. Old smelly super soft mattresses that we sunk into. We had to go to Meijers to buy pillows.

Clean, lots of room, close to everything

It was nice, clean, and quiet area. There were people in above unit all week which was fine too. Didn't notice they were there. No issues really. If I had to say a negative it was the neighbor upstairs the last night had kids running, and screaming all night, and a poor baby that cried all night. Even with that I was able to sleep so it has decent noise barriers too.

This is a large 2br 1.5 bath 1st floor duplex. It was clean, with clean comfortable linens. Kitchen has what is needed to make a meal. It's a great value too, and I got a discount for booking for 7 nights. It's close to capital, historic down town, and you can hop on the bus to go to MSU sporting events. The building it's self is a cute older building. I think there is 2 units in building. There is a unit above but both have private entrances. I was worried about it being cold or drafty but kept the heat well. After we were there for a few days we asked for clean/extra towels and that afternoon a housekeeper came knocking with fresh towels.

We had to drive around the block twice because we couldn't imagine our rental could be the house with five large Trump signs covering half the first floor façade, including the window. Between that and the house next door, which apparently shares an owner and was even more decked out, it felt like walking into campaign headquarters. There were other problems. We could not sleep well because the beds were extremely soft. Half the apartment was chilly and there wasn't a way to control the heat. And, the property manager was hostile and condescending on the phone (there was no mention of politics, that's just how he spoke to me.) One more note about signs: this is not about free political expression, it's about providing an environment that isn't destined to turn off at least half of your guests. I never would have booked this property if the signs were in the photos, and once we saw them we were stuck.

The living room was cozy and chairs were comfortable. There was an extra blanket in the closet to compensate for a chilly room.

I agree with the previous guest, that left a review the beds were ok both seemed to dip in middle, either bad mattresses or box springs, Chair in living room arm broken a little but there were 3 other chairs so not an issue. Not well stocked with kitchen ware, but enough to get by.

The chair in the living was broken. The light in the living room and one above the sink in the bathroom did not work. The towel bar in the bathroom above the toilet was not anchored to the wall. There were dirty dishes in the dishwasher and not a clean one in the entire apartment. When we went to use the coffee pot we found old coffee grounds molding in it. The blinds in the back bedroom were not workable making it so people could see in. The bed in the back bedroom was worn so bad it brought you to the middle. The owners response was lacking except for one text stating an issue would have to wait until the morning when he could come over. This would be after the stay was complete rendering it useless, other than that he did not respond.
