The air conditioner was super loud (I would have to turn up the volume of the TV by at least three levels to hear it over the air-and then turn it back down when the air went off as it was too loud) and it would frequently wake me up at night with how loud it was. Things need updating. Multiple cracks in the tile in the bathroom, the hot tub was down due to renovation. Three elevators that were constantly breaking down and with housekeeping using the same elevators meant waiting for elevators for a long time. Valet parking EF was nice but wish it was not mandatory. On the bills they charge you 18%gratuity and then ask for a tip too? I wish when you checked in, they gave you rules like what time is check out, and pool and beach hours. Wish you could purchase a bottle of water when you picked up your beach towels.

It has an outdoor pool and is close to the beach. You get a chair and towel every day at the beach. It was nice to be able to text valet to have your car ready for you. Having a mini fridge and microwave was convenient as well. There is a lifeguard tower near by with flags that would help tell you about the water conditions.

Not enough beach chairs, had 4 in group and only given 2 free and had to pay for 2 as well as umbrellas. Pool was extremely dirty, hot tubs didn’t work, restrooms by beach closed, beach was left dirty. Water leaking in closet, soaking clothing. Beds are not queen size.

The location is great, rooms are very spacious nice, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was not the best, it said included, this was a $20.00 credit. I don’t recommend booking with breakfast because there’s a full kitchen in the rooms. Location, rooms, staff was pleasant and helpful . Heated pool and hot tub.

Please and I mean urgently they need to invest in better mattress. I had so much back pain sleeping on those beds. You would think with that high value of an hotel the mattress would be top tier but unfortunately not. Also the cleaning staff were rude and unfriendly. Customer can take a business a long way and unfortunately they lack that in every aspect

I love the fact that they allowed me to switch my room Fromm ocean view to balcony view because I booked it wrong. So we were able to switch it easily. What I like about Doubletree is the amenities and the location. They have so much to offer that u don’t really have to leave and if you do then the location is so convenient you can walk to restaurant and stores.

Facilites with some rusted doors, Lamps inside the room did not provide sufficiently effective illumination, windows glasses would appreciate a wash, elevators are too slow, the room carpet looks also very old. Too far from the south section of Miami

Beds and Linen very clean and comfortable The Facilities are OLD and not in a top notch condition, which i believe it should not cost $1,180.21 for 3 days.....they even charge you $25 + tax every day for the "resort"........ and $40 + taxes for the parking.

The pool staff refused to pull out beach chairs, mentioned they were close in 20 minutes and won’t pull it out. We’ve sat on the beach and watched the time went by over an hour and they didn’t even come and collect the chairs then, so they could have gave us chairs. The towel staff was absent most of the time. We were not able to get our towel cards back, we just left the towels there and left.

The building needs attention, maintenance. The rooms need closer attention, maintenance. I understand we can't find qualified people to do the job, but training the few the [place have shall be mandatory to get the building going.

The location is superb. The event I attended was phenomenal, the I don't know if from the hotel or the organizer, but was well done. The facilities to access the terrace from the event room, very nice

Please be informed that adding breakfast to your booking may not be worthwhile as it is limited to $20 per person and is not provided by the hotel itself. I would like to bring to your attention that while beach towels and beach chairs are provided, there is an additional charge of $24 for an umbrella. I believe this may be a strategy to generate revenue. Although the hotel is not inexpensive, it offered a pleasant stay. However, the experience could be further enhanced by addressing the aforementioned concerns.

The location of the hotel is excellent, with a beautiful view of the beach. The swimming pool and jacuzzi are also great amenities. The shower is particularly impressive, with excellent water pressure. I appreciate that the hotel has not skimped on this important feature, as some other hotels do in an effort to save money.

We didn't like the road in front of the hotel. It was crazy busy. We have a toddler with us and walking to various locations was frightening, as we aren't used to traffic like that 😳 The only other dislike was the tiny balcony with not the biggest ocean view 😅 1/2 ocean 1/2 city.

We liked the location right on the beach. The staff was pretty friendly. Breakfast was tasty. Kids loved the pool and the beach. You can walk on the beach for a long distance. The room had a washer and dryer right outside of it. There are many places to eat within walking distance. Overall, it was a nice stay 🌺

You are forced to pay $38 a night for valet parking and then of course you feel obligated to tip when getting or returning your car (which for us was every day. You have to pay for a beach towel and chair, I was blown away by that one.
