    Cute beach hotel at Doheny

Beach access by foot felt a little treacherous, but it was just a short walk on the side of the beach access road until we got into the campground, and it felt safer as a pedestrian. Overall, a good value for the area, especially given the holiday weekend, but be prepared that self park parking rate was $45/day.

Cute hotel across from the campground at Doheny. Staff was very friendly, helpful, and responsive to requests. Very cheerful and modern decor. Breakfast portions were generous, and I’m glad we paid a little extra for the vouchers to eat there because there was nowhere else within walking distance. Under twelve eats for free. Nice rooftop bar where you can sit even without ordering.

Breakfast was not good. The omelet was swimming in grease and the avocado toast was just bad. To exit the parking structure, you need a room card key to use at the machine, but after we checked out we didn't have the card any longer, so the hotel valet used his card.

Location is great for visiting Doheny State Beach--just walk across the street. There's a cafe on that beach and also lots of stone tables/benches and palm trees. The room was clean, updated, nicely decorated, bright. Great pillows and mattress was comfy. Bathroom was clean, and there's quality hand soap and a shower handle that is easy to operate. The shower has a ceiling light. The room has a desk , a small Keurig, a microwave, and a small refrigerator. The rooftop bar is great, but not much ocean view. But we watched the sun setting through the palm trees, and it was classic California. At the bar, we ordered the chicken teriyaki sandwich, and it was delicious. Staff at the rooftop bar and the front desk were pleasant and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

We were charged $90 for two nights of parking. We didn’t use valet and used the self park option. There’s no other parking in the area and we were not made aware of the fee until after we checked out and received the final bill.

Nice location. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast.

I thought parking rate overnight was expensive however we did get some reduction because of our length of stay.

Room was very spacious and clean, however we had a week long stay and were right next to the mechanical room which was noisy, bathroom door also needs some adjusting. Breakfast was good and Gloria in dining room was lovely. We did not book a room with a view, we were overlooking the road.

Shampoo and conditioner were empty upon arrival, but they did replace them quickly. But I did have to shower without the 1st day. Room had a weird smell to it, so I had to buy an airfreshner just to not gag. The fridge wasn't working, no resolution there. Should be at least 1 or 2 food items more reasonably priced.

The valet personnel made it fantastic! Scott was so helpful for places to go & see and always asked how my day was when I returned. The kindness was amazing! Especially since I didn't even have a car there! The location was fantastic. Beds & pillows comfy.

The first room smelled but they changed us quickly and it was much better. Neither room had the view we were expecting. We booked a room with breakfast included, through booking. We were told at check-in that wasn't the case. They accommodated us though. Breakfast was was still $20+ out of pocket and would've been $60+. Not worth $20. Sorry. That definitely needs to be looked at. Our 2nd room had a big gap under the door. We had to put a towel down so we couldn't see out and people see in. Shocking.

Quiet and beautiful location. Very nice staff. Nice room and balcony.

Parking at the facility is way too expensive! Felt like we got a good deal on the room and then got slammed with the parking fee. Just another money grab :(

We needed to use the pull out bed and there wasn't fresh sheets and blankets available to us to make up the bed. When we did get them one of the pillows stunk. But housekeeping came promptly to replace it. Also we did not like the sliding door for the bathroom!! It was noisy when it moved and did not really offer the type of privacy we would have liked. The parking fee was a bummer but I guess that's how it is these days.

Awesome views and great location! Very clean and the staff was so nice and helpful! The food in the restaurant was very delicious. We loved the way it was decorated for the holidays!

We chose not to have our room cleaned for 2 days was unnecessary, but when we requested the room to be cleaned and new towels stocked, it didn't happen. Additionally when I went to the desk to lodge disappointment and we needed towels for that night, he gave them to me but never apologized or acknowledged the failure of the staff. Not great customer service

The deco and overall condition of the property was as expected. Staff was friendly and helpful for the Most part. The location was great with shops and restaurants near by.

That valet parking or self parking was the same price. The circle entrance is too tight, when multiple cars gather. There is too much concrete in the center circle. ned some soft scape

Renovated rooms, location, relaxing lobby. View from the rooftop lounge.

Very little attention to detail. We had booked a room for 3. But there were no linens or pillows for the pull out bed. On check in the front desk saw 3 of us but didn’t bother to think about the pull out. The furniture on our balcony/terrace was extremely dirty and would have ruined our clothes if we used them. Not what you would expect from the Hilton brand. There is a clearly a disconnect between the front desk/management and house keeping staff (who were very helpful).

Good location despite being between highways. The house keeping staff were great.
