Everything else was poor especially the cleanliness of the room, awful. Could not open the windows and there were no blinds.

I feel like The Shore Club was probably a great hotel in its heyday! It feels like it was probably a part of Spring Lake history. I would like too see it updated and given some TLC. The concrete is cracking, the upper decks of the hotel rooms need work. Maybe put away the old beverage carts that have been outside since our last visit. The rooms are fine for short stays.

The property needs renovations and repairs, it’s looking old and shabby. Also, very strange that they always the public by the pool area . It was packed with people who weren’t staying there.

No elevator and steps required for every room. Old rooms and mismatched furniture. Lack of storage/shelving in tiny bathroom.

The breakfast left a lot to be desired for the price one pays for the room.

Location was great for my purpose - class reunion at the Renaissance in Ocean. I had been going to Doolan's since I was little with my father who was Mike Doolan's first cousin. I even worked there during the summer of 1974 as a chambermaid.

The room was worn, with old furniture. The bed was not comfortable, too hard. Bathroom was remodeled and nice. Front door should be replaced, it was old, scratched, missing finishing.

Although we didn’t use the pool, the pool area was very nice.

The room needs a facelift. Definitely needs blackout curtains. At 6:00am, the room was as light as day.

The facility is structurally unattractive. You can tell that the rooms were remodeled, but it was not done well. There are spaces between the floorboards, and the walls and paint is coming off of the walls. Overall, it was a very poor remodel You can hear everything going on outside in the rooms. I wanted a place with free breakfast, which is a big reason why I chose this facility. The free breakfast includes coffee and dry cereal with milk. I would not consider that a continental breakfast.

The staff was nice and there was ample parking.

Our room- you couldn’t flush toilet paper down the toilet! I noticed behind the toilet wasn’t clean.

The floor in the room needed to be mopped & the crawl space above the bed had empty beer cans in it…. & the crawl space as a whole didn’t make sense! They also didn’t have coffee in the restaurant . & I had to wait about 30 minutes after my arrival time to check in because the girl at the front desk couldn’t do it and the manager was in a meeting….

Toilet leaked and we used our towels to clean the leak. When they came to look at the leak they stopped the leak and left all the dirty towels as they were around the toilet and some clean ones folded behind.

The staff let themselves into our room while we were going to bed. They had a pass key and was bringing someone’s luggage up. They had the wrong room. I was scared to death. Management did not give us anything for this mistake. Also the property smelled musty. Parts need to be updated.

We were there for a party. Food good. Nice place for parties.

The toilet kept running during the night and in need of replacement parts, the wall heating unit is loud as it goes on, drapes are old and need of replacement

I was expecting the rooms to be nicer. The walls were a bit dirty, the curtains were falling off.

The main entrance is beautiful. The rooms are motel like, look like two totally different hotels. Some of the room was renovated but looked a bit dirty. The beds were clean.

The chair is the room upholstery was peeling off. The shower stall didn’t have a door that closed so the water from shower spilled all over the bathroom floor and took multiple towels to soak up.
