The steam room is just a one-person steam shower. Functional but a bit of a disappointment.

Convenient and tasty breakfast and happy hour. You can grab stuff and take it up to your room. Anyway, who complains about free beer?

The only issue I had is our room keys, the would work to get to the third floor but only one out of three keys would actually open the door to our room. Twice, I had to ask the front desk to reset the keys, but other than that I had no complaints.

Told the staff it was my birthday and they went above and beyond with my room and treats!

The street noise is horrible in that part of town hard to sleep . One loud truck went up and down all night .

I had a delayed flight and chose to stay in Fargo instead of going back and forth to Grand Forks. I am so glad that I did, this hotel was far above my expectations for the price. The staff were kind and very helpful, the room was so inviting with actually good wine available in my room that really made what could have been a bad day a great day. Very close to restaurants, and a great cafe, the snowy view was beautiful. Morning time room service was so nice, and they have an Irish Pub downstairs. I would recommend this place!

Our original room had an air conditioner that was very noisy but they gave us another room that was equally nice but with a quiet air conditioner.

Great location in downtown Fargo. Beautifully renovated building full of character, art and ambience. The room was spacious and the bed so very comfortable. The room included luxurious bathrobes, a very large TV, and a comfortable leather sofa. There was an evening turndown with chocolates, morning coffee and pastries delivered to our room and early evening wine and cheese in the lobby. Outside our elevator were shelves of beautiful books on the history, flora and fauna of North Dakota. The Donaldson and Fargo was our favorite stop on our road trip.

Parking would be the only thing, although the valet service offered was a great support

Turn down service and breakfast delivery was a wonderful and unexpected addition to my stay. Possibly a couple of more breakfast option would have been a bonus, but that’s just me nitpicking. I will definitely come back

The location is excellent for downtown and there is a valet parking service. There is an excellent pub/restaurant on the ground floor. The staff are very nice and helpful.

The room and facilities were great, complimentary wine and cheese sitting on the balcony! Rooftop bar to finish our night. Location is fantastic right in the middle of Downtown easy walk to explore, would highly recommend the hotel and Fargo

I did enjoy my time there but there were a few things that took away from the experience. There was an odor in the hallway that was unpleasant but thankfully didn't permeate into the rooms. The door didn't have a safety latch or peep hole to see who's there, and traveling alone I didn't love that. Booking.com mentions parking, but there was no onsite parking so I ended up paying $15 for valet as I was tired and didn't want to have to figure out where to park. Lastly, being near the trains, there was a pretty consistent vibration although once I put on the tv, I really didn't notice that.

I loved the room itself, lots of space, amenities, great character and homey touches. Probably one of the most comfortable rooms I've stayed in - both the bed and the couch. The staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. There is a complimentary wine and cheese hour that was a really nice touch. Robes to wear during your stay which was also really nice. Location was central and easy to walk anywhere in downtown Fargo. They have a nice turndown service too. The pub located downstairs was really easy to order through and very quick.
