The king bed was like a brick. I didn’t sleep great. There was a metal guard around the bed that I kept accidentally hitting and it was like a “gong.” Also, the bathroom could have been a bit nicer…

It is actually Seaside not Monterey so it is a bus ride to Monterey. Bus stop is just outside. No clothes washing or drying facilities on site and nearest is 10-15 minutes walk.

Very impersonal check in/out experience. Seemed like the less contact they have with you the better! Lots of vans parked in the evening - suspect it is a pitstop for workers. That said it didn't really affect our stay -I was aware of some very early vehicle movement but I'm a light sleeper

Functional motel room with parking in front of the room. It was relatively quiet apart from a bit of TV noise from next door, but it didn't go on late. We were there for 1 night and it served it's purpose. It's nowhere in particular - there are food places within walking distance but you need to drive to get to the beaches or marina as roads around are very busy.

Towels were of the older, small variety and the sheets were not cotton but they changed them over to cotton sheets and were very accommodating about it.

Staff was friendly and attentive to our requests. The room was functional, meeting our needs, and the property is well maintained.

Things could have been a little cleaner, little stains here and there. I also had to pay a deposit upon arrival which wasn't an issue, I just had no idea about that until check in. Also most hotels offer HBO, Starz, something, and there was only basic channels. Especially when everyone is streaming now, that was very basic and needs to be updated. Also the housekeeper knocked on our door before 11 , again not an issue however we were already tidying up, be patient please. Also it has only been a day but it says online that is how long it takes to receive the deposit back and I have not. Hopefully this is resolved quickly as well.

It was very quiet and comfortable to sleep in the beds. There were also many places near by to eat, and the aquarium was not too far from us. We also liked there was only a single level to the hotel.

Great location, close to many restaurants and shops, with the added convenience of a parking lot. The room was very spacious with large queen beds. However, the paint is a bit dated and some areas of the bathroom walls could use renovation. It would be nice if tea or coffee were provided in the room. The soap dispensers didn’t work well, and the walls were quite thin—we could clearly hear noise from the neighboring room throughout the night. Overall, it's a decent place for a short stay of 2–3 nights..
