A little far from Eastsound but there still was a few choices for dining in the area.

Cottage with ample room for 2 people. Like the hot tub and deck. Also the BBQ dinner was great on site.

The lack of reading lights for the bay window area. Also, a soap dish in the shower would have been nice.

It was clean and comfortable - we especially liked the large bay window for reading and relaxing, although reading lamps at each end would have been helpful.

Tiny fix: we really appreciated the Earth, friendly products. However, still staying with the Earth friendly vibe, I would recommend getting plates from Goodwill that are just more permanent and easy to clean. The bamboo biodegradable weren’t pleasant.

Where to begin? We were in love with the Sunset Suite cottage. From the gorgeous views to the abundant amenities like hot tub, gas bbq, mini kitchen, decks lounging, fire pit , window seat and extra rollaway bed - an incredible value.

We stayed in the ‘cottage on the bluff’ for Valentine’s Day and it was such a treat! Private hot tub overlooking deer harbor. Simple kitchen with hot plate and fridge. Small but well suited for romantic sunset hor d ouvres or a simple breakfast. Love that they are dog friendly!

The instructions for locating the correct cottage and finding the correct door was incredibly poorly described. Almost derailed the entire trip.

Communication with host was a challenge at first. Never received the email instructions for entry and had to wait for the host to text access instructions after leaving a voicemail at the number provided by booking.com. The small camp kitchen was not really usable for meal preparation or clean-up after. The two-burner hot-plate barely got hot enough to cook an egg. Turning on both burners would blow the breaker per the host. The sink was too small to wash much. The tiny microwave could only handle an 8" size plate. There was a small toaster oven for use but didn't attempt it. The dorm size mini-fridge only held enough food for a couple of people for a day or two. Had some difficulty getting the WiFi to work until, at the suggestion of the host, we unplugged and rebooted it. One of the two TV remotes had dead batteries so had to swap batteries back and forth. The propane grill on the deck was very small and would not light without the assistance of a separate lighter which we had to purchase in town before we could make use of it. The building location on the bluff looked out on the main road on one side and an adjacent restaurant property on the other so we had to listen to traffic going by when on the outside deck, and the people dining and cavorting at the restaurant from 4-9 pm each night. There was a window mount AC unit, but it just barely kept up with the hot days. The restroom was adequate, though the small, round-bowl toilet was low and not very comfortable - an elongated, chair height bowl would have been better. Water pressure was minimal for showers.

There was no breakfast provided, so, not applicable to this stay. The room was clean and the King sized bed was comfortable. The room decorations were cute. The outdoor hot tub was hot and ready to use. There was a nice Keurig for coffee and hot drinks as well as a selection of pods for use.

The house was 53 degrees when we got there! It took hours to heat it up. Kitchen was minuscule, and it was difficult to get to the sink to wash dishes.

There was no breakfast, only a coffee pot and keurig pods. Beautiful view and great location. The hot tub was wonderful.
