Very nice, loved the history of the property. Door didn’t work very well. Would have preferred a regular door for safety purposes rather than a pocket door. Blinds could use replacement, the direction wands were all missing and they were difficult to use. Also more signs to mark room from outside.

Although there was no staff at the De La Vina Inn, which was intended and initially I found frustrating, Humberto was very helpful over the phone.

The whole contactless experience was a little weird to me, as I'm used to seeing people about. Kind of felt like I was in a ghost hotel. I never once saw another person who was staying there, but I was there for work, so I wasn't there myself during the day.

Location was excellent for my needs. Enjoyed the courtyard and close proximity parking. Nice to have coffee / tea available in the main area by the dining room. Being able to light a fire in the in-room fireplace was really nice. Loved that it was NOT a "chain" hotel, so it had a lot of charm built in, versus a sterile "corporate" experience.

There wasn’t anyone physically present at the hotel, making it a little impersonal at times. This is however only a small thing, and we loved our stay here!

Late check in and early check out times. The lack of staff on site also means you can't leave luggage anywhere if you arrive in town early.

A gem of a little inn. Central location with lovely touches like the tranquil front and back gardens. Very clean and comfortable rooms and easily accessible car parking. This little gem exceeded our expectations and if we were frequent travelers to SB we would book here again.

The bathroom had a few hair in the shower and the tv remote was hard to use. Definitely needs a new remote control. But otherwise was very good.

Beautiful grounds and home to hang out in. Good communication with Manager though he was not on site. Amazing whirlpool bath. Coffee served in AM. Access to full main living area and gardens. Quiet.

No one is actually onsite for the property and they didn't respond to messages for over an hour so dropping off our luggage earlier than check-in was a hassle - even though we had arranged it ahead of time.

This was a contactless entry and the instructions were very clear. Room was good and it had a lovely garden seating area and common rooms. Great location with quick access to downtown by foot. Free parking on site as well. Very attentive off site host, Huberto, who was always available. Also a free bottle of wine in the room as a bonus.

The walls are very thin so you can hear others walking around and chatter in rooms. No breakfast or snacks available in room. No staff at the property, self check in and check out. No bikes available. The bathtub in our room was a jetted tub but the keys were broken. This property is essentially staying at an Airbnb. Would love to see them add on some additional amenities for guests to make the stay more inviting.

The home is beautiful. All the rooms are unique. It is a quiet, relaxing place to stay.

There was an issue with the front door. Our code did not work. This was the case for others as well. Had we not found and tried the back door there was no way to enter and no staff on site.

the location is excellent in relation to restaurants and many sites. we were also near the Sansum Clinic for some diagnostic tests.

Several of the wall hangings were barely held on and not straight. Buttons were missing on the tub. IE: mirrors, curtains pictures,lights and other items.

The overall inn was clean and old which was great. Rooms felt homey and comfortable.
