How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Everything was fine for this trip.
We wanted more for breakfast then what was offered so we went to a restaurant. Location was good for our needs and the room was clean and comfortable. Nice shower and adequate toiletries.

The cost included breakfast but it was more like snacks cold doughnuts, apples and granola bars and coffee. Better go for without breakfast rates as restaurants are nearby. There were no fridge or coffee machines in the room. There was a microwave to be shred by all guests.
Close to eating places. Staff was helpful and the place was clean.

Hairs in the tub/shower, room reeked of cigarette smoke.

The hotel advertised free breakfast, but what was provided was apples, granola bars, or a package donut.

Noise from laundry room, as we were directly across the hall from facility, tv remote did not work, no shampoo (2 conditioners in shower), complimentary breakfast was practically nonexistent.

The front staff tried very hard to help and make our stay comfortable. It was very noisy due to trans and people talking at 4:00 AM plus they had NO COFFEE SERVICE IN THE ROOM. I haven’t had that experience for years. I only drink decaf…none available at all. In the tom or in the lobby. Soured my experience.

All the Days Inn we have stayed in came with a fridge and microwave. This two rooms did not. Also the staff did not explain where things were located through out the hotel. Breakfast sucked

The room didn't even have a small refrigerator. Breakfast was very small. Got coffee and juice were available but there was only apples, chocolate donuts and chocolate chip granola bars. I realize that we went to eat closer to the end time allotted, but I'm deadly allergic to chocolate and an apple was my only option.
It was convenient to the stadium and was a good price. The room we had was small, but I didn't have much money for a more expensive room. Everything was clean and I was surprised by full size shampoo/ conditioner and body wash in the shower.

no breakfast. only coffee and prewrapped stale donut. room we were given was not ready....no sheets on bed, no pillow covers etc. had to take luggage back to desk and get a new room which took another 15-20 minutes late at night .

The front desk clerk who checked me in was one of the most disinterested and unhelpful individuals I have met in hotel work! I was just a piece of meat to her, just putting time through the electronic system with no personal connection. In addition, I had to repeat several checking steps that I had already completed both in registration (through booking.com), and via the texted app the day prior to arrival. The heater and the bathroom fan in the room were both among the noisiest I have had to deal with.
I liked the setup of the room; it was clean and comfortable. The bathroom had an abundance of clean towels and washcloths, and the bed was comfortable.

The AC unit was blasting air straight towards the bed nearest to it. The unit was also loud even on low setting. The beds were so high I had to jump to get on it. I'm 5'2". The bathroom shower situation is outdated. I know I'm expecting too much from an inn, but I paid the same price at a Marriott in Buffalo and everything was modern. The location is great, just needs a modern touch.
The staff was accommodating and helped us switch to closer rooms. She was friendly and answered our questions.
