Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesTold the staff three times the reservation was under my middle name. She repeatedly told me (so everyone behind me could hear) that I had no reservation. I went to the car for my phone to prove it with my booking, and then she said, “ Oh, I found it. You got your name backwards!” So I was blamed for her error. A very frustrating experience. I’m sure my annoyance showed, but I did try to be polite. After all that, she was cordial. Also, the website promised breakfast, but there was no breakfast at all. Booking.com was not updated. Poor management.
Room was all right, very clean and mattress was very comfortable.

United StatesSubject: Issue with Hotel Booking – Missing Included Breakfast I recently made a reservation through booking.com platform for a stay at Days Inn by Wyndham Columbus East Airport. My booking confirmation clearly stated that bed and breakfast was included with the reservation. However, upon arrival, the hotel staff informed me that they do not provide breakfast at all. This was unexpected and misleading, as I specifically chose this property because of the advertised breakfast. I would appreciate it if you could look into this discrepancy and advise whether compensation or a partial refund can be arranged. Thank you.

United StatesThe ice machines were extremely inconvenient to get to, then when I got there, on the opposite end of the building, it was broken. ☹️. I was too tired to go to the other floor to get ice. Having them in the middle makes more sense than the end of the building. We also didn't like that there was no breakfast. Booking.com needs to update it. I specifically chose a motel that supposedly served breakfast because my wife and I missed that the morning before. We were extremely disappointed.
We liked that the room and bathroom were clean. We liked the bed. The microwave worked and was easy to use. We liked the TV.

United StatesThe toilet seat in room #221 needs to be replaced. It was damaged. Booking a room it states that breakfast is included. There is no breakfast included. That really why I booked this hotel. Also they advise a restaurant on site. It’s not even open.

BelizeThis hotel seems to be under renovation or maybe new ownership. Pool was closed for repair. The inside of the hotel looked a bit dated but that wasn't too important to me. I did note that if we left anything edible out, ants would come out.
The place was not very busy so our time was quiet. The staff did the cleaning well and I felt safe in the room. The location was easy to find and served our needs. The cost of our stay helped us to keep within our budget. We checked in really early in the morning because our flight had delays. The front desk staff was friendly and got us checked in quickly. Room was clean.
