Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. United StatesThe black mold on the wall above the shower really made the stay extraordinary. Also, the heater/AC unit did not work either so that was very upsetting. Lastly, the sheets were disgusting, like someone had already slept in that bed.

United StatesThe first room they gave us had a faulty door so they moved us to another room. That room had such a foul smell even for a smoking room that we needed to be moved again. The third room was okay. The third time, I guess, was the charm. But it was inconvenient to keep moving our things. Also, the ice machine, which I had to go downstairs to get to, was broken.

United StatesThe key cards do not always open the door, even when they work electronically, causing a green light to display. The only way the door opens is by finding staff to open it with a physical master key. During our most recent stay of 3 days, our door never opened with a key card. Cell phone reception is also terrible in the building. It's nonexistent in the 2nd floor rooms and spotty in the 3rd floor rooms.
We like that it is the least expensive place to stay very close to our intended visit with my mother, and also is very close to plenty of retail everything.

United StatesThe shower was not working and the bathtub was old and dirty looking. The knob to turn it on was clearly broken. We had to wash up in the hot tub. When reported at check out we were told that you just had to pull it hard which was a lie. If my fiancé couldn't pull it then nobody can. He's a big, strong man who carries refrigerators down steps by himself. Compensation offered was a discount for the next time if we wanted to stay again.
The hot tub in the room and a delicious dinner at the Gateway Grill located in front of the hotel.

United StatesThe rooms are dated and our neighbors were smoking some really strong stuff. You could tell people stay here for extended periods of time. There were signs/decorations in some of the windows as if they moved in and some cars did not move during our whole stay.
The location is great! It’s in a good part of town. It’s very affordable. You are within walking distance to the Gateway Grille for an easy meal.
