The area seems a bit sketchy late at night. We walked to and from Mann's Chinese Theatre very late at night and the atmosphere changed as security shut off parts of the Dolby Theatre and shopkeepers closed their souvenir shops. Nobody approached us, but we were careful not to make eye contact and not linger once the pavement stars had come to an end.

The room (Double Queen) had plenty of space for our family of four and the beds were comfortable. The location is good; a brisk 10-15 minute walk from the the start of the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Across the road from the hotel is Norms a 24-hour eatery.

The facilities were run down but it doesn’t really affect you, especially if you’re out all day. The important things are covered so if you can handle the building issues and being in a not so affluent neighbourhood, this place is very good value for money.

The location was really handy to the metro, supermarket just a few steps away, and a Ross for anything you need. The staff were excellent, the beds were comfortable, the shower was clean and good pressure. The pool was wonderful for the kids. Air con worked. There is overnight security for your peace of mind.

Good hotel to explore Los Angeles.

The room doesn't have proper curtains and blinders, I think it is very important not only for a quality sleep but also for privacy, I dont think it will cost to much to install them. Coffee is only available till 11:00am, after that time you should pay, maybe they could provide with coffee machine or at least kettle instead, because many people drink coffee/tea afternoon too. Neighborhood is central but we were really bothered by those homeless people around. They didn't enter the hotel territory due to security guy sitting there, however once you step outside of it, you will see so many walkers, perhaps it is more social problem of Los Angeles, so sorry for them.

The hotel itself is good. Friendly staff at reception, especially the man who speaks Spanish. He was so welcoming and helpful all the time. Location is good to get around, both by the subway system and buses. There are plenty of eateries across the street because its a part of Little Thailand neighborhood, the hotel is also convenient for shopping at Ross & Marshals they are just next to the hotel. Target is 10 minute walk. The Walk of Fame is located at the same street as the Hotel, but better to ride 2 stops by subway.

The water pressure for the shower is quite low. It is in not the most family friendly neighbourhood, a lot of homeless people nearby. Also a lot of noice in the night cause mostly by noice cara driving around.

It has a nice pool (but closes already at 8pm), rooms are clean. There was enough parking spaces in the location.

There was no hot water in the shower. It seems to be a way for the hotel to save on water usage. No room had hot water in the shower. Not boiling hot, but like warm hot. It's a problem if you want to take a warm shower.

Going out to smoke a cigarette in front of the hotel on the street was very tiring, especially since there is a metro station next to the hotel and all the time some homeless people were approaching you to give them a cigarette. You should designate a place to smoke somewhere on the hotel grounds on the square, since you can't smoke on the terrace. A small table and chair in the room and some plate and cutlery would also be useful. If it weren't for the obligation to smoke in front of the hotel I would give it 10 stars, but as it is only 7

Good location. Nice and helpful staff. Nice pool which unfortunately I didn't have time to use. Clean rooms and cleaned every day if you wish. Very nice hotel. If it wasn't for the issue of smoking on the street I would give 10 stars

The house is old and dark, parking is $25 per day, they send a letter that check-out is at 12, and a link on how to check-out online. And at 11:15 they call and yell that we have missed the check-out deadline, they threaten to issue a fine, they ruined the whole mood

Clean, free coffee on the morning, walking distance to the Hollywood Walk of Fame and the Observatory, cheap taxi to Universal

Air conditioning is old and have very loud noise. It disturbed my sleeping. The hotel doesn't provide you some bottle of water nor coffee machine in the room. Some outlets on the wall doesn't work. My room is on the first floor and I don't feel safe. At midnight, I can hear people talking outside and it's kind of annoying!!

Room is clean, bed is comfy and have essential items. Location is closed to many restaurants. Staffs are nice!
