It's an older motel, as money allows the desk, plus a few other items need upgraded. But I definitely would stay again.

Very clean room, in room refrigerator, microwave, and air purifier, good hot water with good pressure. Staff is excellent, treated like family. They really care about you. I got a free bag of goodies with check in and the owner gave me a free bag of ice for my cooler.

The bed quality made it difficult to sleep. The bed shakes if someone moves (even a little). That was our only issue.

The staff are very friendly. Appreciated the goody bag upon arrival. Room was clean.

Super thin towels & pillows. Staff had an attitude. Had to call to have my room made up.

Close to interstate and gas stations, central location. Quiet rooms. No bedbugs. Comfortable beds. Good choice of TV channels.

I would like a thicker pillow, if possible; at least one, if not both.

The comfortable bed and the hot shower. I always appreciate the greeting I get from Shannon, the night clerk.

Bring a small fan in case you’re on the side of the truck stop. Also, the bed was fine, but could definitely tell the mattress was older.

Great price, located just off the highway, not far from Youngstown State where I had a job. The staff was very friendly, quick to get me checked in, and gave me 2 bottles of water. There is also beer for sale and other cold beverages for sale in the office.

In the rain, some outside areas had leaks. There were no leaks in my room or any other indoor location I observed. The leaves outside had not been removed from the walkway and were easily tracked into the room. Sounds from the Pilot Travel Center next door were heard in my room, which was on the side near the Pilot Travel Center. I brought a Roku Streaming stick, but there was no way I could see to attach it to the TV.

The people were excellent. There was a caring atmosphere and the staff was absolutely honest. There were good inexpensive items for the guests enjoyment such as some fruit bars and free coffee in the office. The WiFi was excellent. The bed was very comfortable. There was cable TV. The cost was an excellent value.

Good enough for an OK inexpensive overnight stay on your way to wherever you are heading

I have stayed here twice, so I realize that each room is likely furnished differently. But, I think each room has a large desk -- which his good. But the desk will be some old cast-off thing that is 50 years old and maybe rescued from the street when somebody tried to get the trash guys to take it. There are few lights in the room--only two lamps plus the lights over the sink area. Plus the ceiling light in the bathroom. The light over the sink will have mismatched bulbs. The lamps seem to be trash-picked and differ in each room. A wall switch at the door operates one lamp. The lamp next to the bed is not good as a reading lamp. It is a very cheap, very low (height) directional lamp that is too low for anyone to actually be able to use as a reading lamp. The lack of information about WIFI availability is very odd. In fact, I did not know that there was WIFI until I looked at my Booking.com receipt before I checked out. It has a description of the motel's amenities, and it mentions WIFI. So, before I left, I tried to see if it did have WIFI. I found that it does, and no password is required. But you must sign some sort of waiver. It would have been good to know that WIFI was available before I checked out. Similarly, there is no information posted about check-out time. (That was actually what I was looking for on my Booking.com receipt when I discovered that WIFI was available.) So, I can't say when checkout time is. But, I assumed 11 AM. There is a drop-box for your key, so check-out is merely dropping your key in the box. One very disgusting thing: The mattress was a bit askew on the foundation, so a portion of the bed foundation could be seen "peeking out" from the mattress. On the foundation, I could see what appeared to be a blood stain! I did not want to peek further under the mattress to see how extensive the stain was. But, really? A blood stain? The Motel needs to at least get a new foundation for that bed.

Extremely easy access from the highway I-76. It is almost right at the exit/entrance to the highway, so no fussing with trying to find it or with trying to find your way back onto the highway. Perfect half-way point between SW Michigan and Philadelphia (which is a 12-13 hr drive). Priced on the low end but not a "dump". Quiet, staff is very friendly, "gift bag" of bottled waters and several breakfast bars, etc, on-line booking went very smoothly, several nearby gas stations have the least expensive gas in the state, laundromat is available ($4 washing machine, $4 dryer -- seems a bit expensive, but it is available), AC works well, there is actually free WIFI (though you would never know it, because there is absolutely no mention of it on any signage at the motel or inside the room or inside the office!!), bed is comfortable (of course, to each his own), the rooms are clean, the shower works well, not luxurious by any stretch of the imagination but good enough for a relatively inexpensive overnight stay.

The room was clean but really needs updated & fixed up. The bed was hard, almost like a board with a thin matress pad on it. For just a 1 night stay, it was ok, but I wouldn't stay longer. It's next to a Pilot truck stop so I heard that all night.

When I walked in I thought is was just for truck drivers. The office looked a little gruff & the parking lot is a small gravel lot. The staff was super nice. He has a welcome bag for visitors with 2 bottles of water & some.snacks. the room was clean & well stocked.

It was a perfect stay. I was greeted on the arrival, kind of waited for. My paper work was ready. The nicest gentleman at the reception desk gave me the keys and welcome bag with complimentary water and sweets. I also appreciated clear signage from the road and to the reception. The facilities exceeded my expectations: microwave, fridge, hair dryer, everything as described and in good condition. Wifi worked perfectly. Would definitely stay again. Definitely worth the money.

It is not too attractive when pulling in but the room was as I expected. The WiFi was non existent in my room. Quite an inconvenience for me.

The room and linens were very clean. The heated floors were pleasing in the early morning. It was easy access to the room. Found it surprisingly quiet. Was very easy to manage the dogs while there.

Cheap sketchy-looking motel, but the rooms are clean and comfortable

The motel looks seedy, and the parking lot needs work. However, the owner and staff are extremely nice, and make you feel welcome. The location is pretty good if you have a car. It's not so good if you don't because it's right off the freeway and there aren't sidewalks by the hotel, nor much within walking distance. Overall, it's a good value for the money if you're on a tight budget and don't care much about "curb appeal." I extended for a third night, and I would stay here again.

This motel looks very rundown from the outside, but the rooms aren't bad. The upstairs rooms are quieter and newer, but seemed a bit dark to me. The ground floor rooms on the front are brighter, but are smaller and older. I chose a ground floor room in the back, which is on an alley. I was apprehensive at first because I'm a woman traveling alone. However, the room was clean and quiet and I didn't feel unsafe. The WiFi was good and there were outlets by the bed, which was comfortably firm. The shower was hot and strong, and there was cable TV. There was also a fridge and microwave, which was a nice convenience. Clean towels were provided, and the rooms were cleaned daily.

Motel is nice but old, parking lot needs some work. Everything worked fine in the room. NOTE: The motels response to Marilyn’s review who stayed at the motel in Sept. 2023 was that the parking lot was repaired. I don’t know what parking lot they are talking about as everything I saw was still badly in need of a repair!

The location was great, right off the toll road. Breakfast was not provided but there was a McDonalds across the parking lot. Staff was very friendly. It appears they allow smoking in hotel rooms in Ohio, we had a non- smoking and it smelled nice and fresh and as if it had never been smoked in. It also appears this motel was added on at some point in time, rooms at the end which is where we stayed had a newer heating/cooling unit. We were in room 17, I would guess rooms like 15 - 20 are newer. If we returned I would request a room near the end. Next door is a smokehouse restaurant which had wonderful food!
