We were in the building across the street and noticed there were a lot of cars revving their engines each night after 10PM, even on weeknights. It was a bit disruptive.

I think that the area around the hotel needs more attention as there was always trash strewn about and some of it seems to have been there for quite sometime. The decks and outdoor furniture need cleaning!

Requested one of the quieter rooms with Water View and I believe we did get the best one.

We had a second floor room with no elevator. Upon leaving there was no one to help with our luggage. We are 85 and 77 years old.

The rooms were in multiple buildings across the property but when asked where to get ice, we were told to go across the main street by the virtual assistant. That ice dispenser was not working. After we called and went to the front desk, they had to get it from the restaurant area. The virtual assistant should have been better prepared, giving us the second option upfront which would have been closer.

No offer to help with bags, did not realize we were across the street at another building. Which would have been fine except that there was no help with our large bags and the person at the desk just basically said that way. No real direction on where the room was or how we would get our bags upstairs etc. Essentially we were left to fend for ourselves.

The rooms were spacious and had everything my team and I needed for the stay. Its across the street from our favorite breakfast/coffee spot, a walk down the road from local restaurants and such, and it was a a short walk to the yacht club where our event was held.

The only complaint I would have is that the bed was not as comfortable the first night as expected, pillows could have been firmer but once you got used to the bed you were fine.

First time in Port Jefferson And the Dansford Hotel & Marina did not disappoint.The cutest Hotel ever adjacent to a area where you can walk around meet people and enjoy good food.The Hotel allows you to leave your car (min price a day) so that you can really take in the sites. So many places to grab either sit down or on the go food. But don't sleep on what the Dansford has to offer either; they're food is also pretty amazing...

We thought we were going to have a private balcony but since we were allowed to check-in 2 hours early which was great I guess we received a different room. The staircase to our floor was worn and a bit dangerous if you didn't take care it was an outdoor stairway All and All it was still very nice.

Port Jefferson is a lovely seaside town. Our location was wonderful everything in walking distance. Ferry terminal was right next door which made the travel super easy. Our room was comfortable and had a beautiful view of the marina. The bedding was very comfortable and the bathroom was nice.

The doesn't have blackout curtains and have cheap blinds that allows sunlight to come through as soon as the sunrise. We were on the 1st floor. It gets very noisy during the night time due to wooden floors and drunk guests slamming doors and walking heavy on the floor above. Rooms are spacious but doesn't have a microwave.

Great location. The hotel property is right in front of the Ferry terminal, restaurants and many attractions of Port Jefferson Village.
