Small but clean Room. Quiet in the backside.

The only reason I did not give it a 10 was there was no ice machine available to us. Also when taking a shower, the water would change temperatures drastically from warm to extremely hot for a few seconds then back to warm.

The room was clean and comfortable. The microwave and Fridge were very nice and clean as well. The TV was good and had many channels to choose from.

The room wasn't stocked properly for a kitchen . Not enough dishes for 4. No silverware no dish detergent to wash the dishes you did use. I brought my own so it wasn't an issue but for those who don't arrive with their own stuff prepared for a kitchen it should be properly stocked. And this isn't really a complaint just an observation and opinion. There wasn't much to complain about.

The room was clean updated and comfortable with comfortable beds. The owner and staff were very accommodating and helpful. Good location close to everything.

There is limited parking and it's first come first served. We took Uber to go out so we wouldn't lose our Parking spot.

The room was clean and modern. The shower had the best water pressure and plenty of very hot water. The staff was very nice and efficient.

The outside of the property is very dated and I had to double check my reservation when we pulled up because I didn’t remember it looking like it did in the pictures. The towels were ridiculously small (and I’m not a big person). It is on a busy street but rooms in the back are a lot quieter. I didn’t appreciate the group of men hanging out in the front parking lot. I’m not sure what that was about. However, due to the price of the room in the comfort of the beds if I’m traveling through Ventura again, I would be tempted to stay here.

Upon arrival, we were given an upgraded room. That was a nice surprise. It had a full kitchen which we did not need but it was a corner room which I love. The beds were extremely comfortable and I did not hear anything from the room next door which I know was occupied. Parking lot is small and we were told might fill up at which point we would have to park on the side streets. Since I was traveling alone with my daughter, that made me a bit nervous to leave the hotel. Luckily, we ventured out to watch the sunset and there was one space available when we returned.

Outside is dated, but inside is great. No breakfast of any kind.

The lobby is a bit small and there's no elevator, so I had to carry my giant bag up some slightly rickety stairs, but that's my own fault for bringing so much stuff!

Lovely, historic motel a mile or so from Ventura Beach -- the room was modern and impeccably clean, the staff was friendly and the location was great (I walked to the beach for a late dinner)! The manager upgraded me to a King Suite, which was epic -- I wish I had another night there so I could have made better use of the kitchenette, haha :) Would def recommend/stay there again!

Our room was located in back stairs by a service area with a view of the parking lot, however, that may have been what made it so quiet and peaceful!

There was just one small "hiccup" where our water had to be shut off, but luckily it didn't interfere with our plans, and the plumbing situation was repaired quickly and everything worked well after that.

The staff was very friendly, and Neal gave us a wonderful recommendation for a restaurant. Everything was clean and comfortable. The location was great for walking to a lot of good restaurants. It was also a short drive to the beaches and to Ventura raceway.
