I had a dog with me. Apparently I needed to reserve a pet friendly room with after a work around from plus even more money was accosted. The real culprit in this is booking a high should be set up to have a “book a pet friendly room option” as part of the website

Walls are thin - could hear guy next to me snoring and people above me walking around. Highway noise was present but was less prominent after dark. Places to eat were about 10-15 miles away and not a lot of options. Used convenience store for ice prior to hiking but was out of order on second day.

This delightful motel was very updated and pleasantly modern. The decor and furnishings, esp the bathroom, were great! The bathroom had a heater and there was an in room fridge and microwave. There were convenient USB and power outlets by the bed. The motel was part of a convenience store so snacky foods were readily available. Great communication via text prior to arrival for all necessary information about room and check in process.

Room should be more thoroughly cleaned, you could see previously killed mosquitos on the walls and ceilings

Location was great and they text you all the information you need beforehand. My late check in went very smoothly just using my phone. Room was exactly like the pictures and was good enough for a 1 night stay with the basic amenities

The street outside was a bit noisy during the night.

A decent, unpretentious, place to stay for two night while we visited Crater Lake and Klamath Falls. It’s not fancy, but the room was clean, the bathroom modern, and the bed comfortable. Very good value for the cost. The owners/staff were responsive. We had a bit of an issue with hot water and they got on it right away. I appreciated having a microwave and refrigerator as there weren’t many places close by to eat. I would stay again if I was in the area.

Our first floor room was in front of a light and thousands of mosquitoes entered the room. Dead mosquitoes on the ceiling from past residents were all over. Hot water didn’t worked over night in the same room as well.

There was no screen on the bathroom window and the check-in process/Ring bell was remote (no.staff.on.site.after.hours). No one answered the Ring for us not for others along with the posted phone number. However, once we understood the remote key process it was super easy but we had to contact the hotel rep via the Booking site.

We like the close.proximty to Crater Lake. The bed was very comfortable.

floors were a bit dirty. the shower made the entire bathroom’s floor wet

Check in & out was so easy! Staff was so nice and the “service/gas” station was well stocked—a lot more products than we thought there would be. It only took us 30 minutes to get to the Crater Lake sign but it really is about 50 minutes to an hour to get to the rim. The hotel was super cute and comfy for an overnight stay. The walls were a bit thin but nothing we couldn’t look past. The beds were soooo comfortable!! It smelled so clean (and basically was) but the only complaint we had was that when we walked barefoot on the floor, our feet were super dirty, so could do with a good mop. But otherwise, our stay was easy, nice, and comfortable! We’d definitely stay again.

The owners would benefit future guests by installing installation between the rooms. I was able to hear conversational sounding voices in rooms that were adjacent to mine.

The gentleman that checked me in was very kind and competent. The room was clean and comfortable.

I had to go in and kill 8 mosquitos before I could chill. There was note in the welcome email about them as well. But I could see where everyone else before me also killed mosquitos lol Also, there was like, NO soundproofing. I am a light sleeper though, and it sounded like there wasn't even a wall when all the fast/loud trucks drove by all night long. I barely slept. And the people above me were trying their best to not be loud but all of the floors were squeaky.

Easy check in. Pretty location. It is clear that the owners wanted the space to feel clean and cozy. I loved the headboard and side table set up, it was very cute.

Not much in the way of facilities but okay if you know that ahead of time. Little store on site which shuts at 7pm.

Very remote location but great stopover if you are traveling to or from Crater Lake. A bit tight for two adults and two dogs but bed very comfy and pillows nice too. Bathroom and shower looked fairly new and was well finished. I’d recommend staying. Additional $35 for the two dogs which is reasonable.

Felt flipped and that the soul of the older lodge was gone. Decorations were lacking connection to the location ( ie) cheap beach pictures instead of mountains. Around 10pm someone check in upstairs- it was so loud I couldn’t believe it! When they flipped it they should have added insulation and use carpet upstairs. Additionally, since there were several rooms open- so the clerk should not have placed someone above us!

Clean, modernized ( but lacked soul)

Bedside lamp inadequate for reading, staff got me a better one. Although room for one, no table with comfy chair(s) to eat meal or to place one piece of luggage on. Had to sit on bed to eat. Had to place luggage open on floor. Existing table left little space and inappropriate to eat at. When asked, no access to fold out luggage carrier to place open luggage on. Annoying hum in walls a lot first night that woke me up in middle of night. Staff unaware what it could be. Was on for shorter times next night and before bedtime and briefer. Little free to choose from on TV. The hotel had no identifying sign at the road or on the building. None. My paper work just said the name of the hwy it was on but no address. When I stopped to ask the place where Gateway might be, staff said you're here!

The room was fine in some ways. Bed very comfortable, temperpedic type. Bathroom nice but little room to place toiletries.
