Nice location mostly surrounded by nature, only 15 min from Park entrance. Great property, with plenty of amenities and nicely appointed rooms. Backyard full of unique features (some more whimsical than practical).

Communication with the hosts (a management company apparently located in PA) was very inefficient. They kept sending us longer and longer email chains, always starting with "You're coming to Philly!" which threw us off right away, and formatted in a way that made it nearly impossible to read the relevant pieces even on a computer (completely impossible on a phone). They need to integrate better with Booking.com - although we requested early check-in, they weren't aware of that -we had to call them and only after a long discussion would they unlock the front door (remotely). We never saw a life person to interact with, and it is unclear how often someone other than the cleaning personnel even checks on the property (the heater worked only intermittently, among other minor issues).

Location was great, house was very comfortable and clean. Host went above and beyond to send us clothes we had left behind. Thank you so much. We tried to reimburse by mailing check to address we were given, but the check has never been cashed. Hoping they recieved it?

    Property response:

Thank you so much! Really glad you found the place comfortable and were happy with the location. And no worries about the check – the important thing is that your clothes made it back to you safely. We're just here to help.

The bunnies roaming around. The layout of the house. How spacious it was. All the equipment in the kitchen.

    Un-lockable back door.

    Property response:

Thank you for sharing your experience! We're so glad you enjoyed the space and the bunnies. We take note of your concern about the back door and appreciate you bringing it to our attention.

Very cozy home feeling, fun kitchen with great assortment of utensils properly labeled and easy to find and very cozy mattress in the master bedroom.

Needs a second front curtin in the main living room for better privacy.

    Property response:

So glad to hear the coziness and kitchen setup hit the mark for you! We appreciate your suggestion for increased privacy and will keep it in mind. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

This house is in a great location, about 10 minutes to Joshua Tree NP entrance. Open layout and really nicely decorated. Loved the record player! It had everything we needed for our convenience (kitchen) and comfort (coffee, robes). The backyard had several seating options, I really enjoyed sitting out there in the morning. The hot tub was great after hiking all day. Before we arrived there were very high winds so the hot tub had quite a bit of sand in it (cover had blown off) and management took care of it right away. There is even a hiking path just up the road. This house is also close to the Black Rock camping area which also has hiking paths. 10/10 recommend!

The living room couch wasn’t very comfortable, probably because it’s a pull-out sleeper couch, which we didn’t use.

    Property response:

So glad to hear you enjoyed your stay and the local touches! We're here to make sure of that, so your words mean a lot. Noted about the couch – comfort is key, and we appreciate your honesty.

The property was in a quiet neighborhood very close to the park. We had a lot of fun relaxing at the house in the evenings after long days of exploring in Joshua Tree. The decor was very cute, and the kitchen was well stocked with basic essentials for our stay. Overall the house was comfortable and homey.

    Property response:

Thanks for sharing, Kaitlyn! Delighted to hear the homey feel and well-stocked kitchen added to your Joshua Tree adventure.

Information was a little bit layered between multiple apps and communications. Once I found the right text, I was able to get the door code pretty easily. But it wasn't immediately transparent. Small potatoes in the long run.

Everything was great and just as described. The whole property was clean, well maintained. Loved the kitchen with almost everything provided to cook.

The dishwasher was broken but I did not really care for our short stay.

The house was clean, stocked with most things we needed for cooking and was beautifully decorated. We immediately felt comfortable and at home.

The pool was fairly dirty, even after skimming so we didn't go in it. Also, the jacuzzi cover had been left open when we got there so there were lots of flies to scoop out. But we did that and enjoyed the jacuzzi anyway. It was warm and everything on the property was working.

This home is incredibly well organized, beautifully curated, comfortable, and has everything you could possibly need. I enjoyed my stay over the weekend, and truly felt at home. I would like to particularly call out how extremely well designed the property is. I felt like I was in a magazine spread for Better Homes and Gardens; someone has done an incredible job with the interior decorating of this home. Thank you for hosting my self-care vacation.

The aesthetic and idea of the home was cute.

The cowboy pool in the backyard was very dirty, I contacted the host and they told me they would have it cleaned over and over again and it never got cleaned so for all 4 days of our stay we weren’t able to get in and it was extremely hot. I specifically got the home because of the pool and paid more than I would’ve if I would’ve just chosen a home without one and I paid an additional fee to bring my dogs. Some of the pans were still dirty so I had to clean them before I could use them. The backyard was full of weeds and cactuses, one of my dogs got a cholla stuck to his paw and it made him bleed. The morning after we arrived at the property I went to let my dogs outside to use the restroom and there was a gardener in the backyard and he frightened me because I wasn’t told that anyone would be coming to the property and neither was he, he had also left the fence open since he thought no one was in the home yet and my dogs could have ran out of the yard. In the informational book they have in the home it says the gardener comes on a different day of the week not the day he had actually shown up.

The house is spacious inside and out. It was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The host added special touches you would get from a luxury hotel, such as providing bath robes, beautifully arranged towels, quality amenities, and a three-ring notebook with information about local restaurants and the national park. The back yard has a quaint gathering area where you can sit your morning coffee and enjoy the view. The jacuzzi was pristine and inviting, and the pool area was arranged perfectly for another gathering area. I love the stay, it felt like home.

    I loved it all.
