They chose you for everything even coffee was five dollars a cup. Breakfast was not complementary. They wanted you to pay for it.

Meals at the bistro were a bit pricey.

A terrific property ideally located across the street from the Iowa University hospital. The room was immaculate. The pool was long enough to do laps; it was also immaculate. I appreciated the hospital discount. The surrounding neighborhood is campus-related housing: Safe and clean. The hotel was easily accessible from the highway.

Uncomfortable ADA beds

Very clean hotel with welcoming lobby area and friendly staff in a tucked away, wooded setting. Big, clean rooms and bath. My only complaint is that we were offered an ADA room in order to be away from a wedding event and the beds were not comfortable.

We were booked into a higher floor room but they had a wedding event the floor above so we were offered an ADA suite on a lower floor and those beds were not that comfortable.

Very nice hotel with pretty surroundings. Rooms and hotel were clean, staff was pleasant, a nice place that we are likely to stay at again.

Food was amazing... Location was close enough to Carver Arena that we could walk there! Nothing but love and respect from everyone on staff, including the nighttime care-taker/receptionist. Will not think twice about booking there again...

Music from lobby was a bit too loud for sleeping. Would prefer brighter lighting in the bathroom.

Complimentary Breakfast was much better than expected. It beat the usual industry standard by a long shot! The Bistro breakfast sandwiches were healthy and delicious. Other meals were also gourmet quality.

The only complaint I have is that i had to make the pull out bed up there were no sheets on it or anything. Other than that I really don't have anything else to complain about.

As a guest, I was told to park within the designated guest parking marked with orange cones. The rest of the hotel parking lot they sell out for Stadium Events. I parked where designated. I had a guest parking pass on my dash. I talked to the male parking attendant with him asking to confirm I was a guest as I was leaving my car. While at Kinnick the hotel called three times(very loud inside the stadium). I finally answer the call and I am told I need to come move my car or they will tow it. I can't leave the event at Kinnick as I will not be let back in. I share that with the Courtyard employee. She said she will try to make sure they don't tow my car, but couldn't confirm that they wouldn't tow it. THE ENTIRE TIME I WAS AT THE EVENT I WAS WORRIED THAT I WAS GOING TO COME BACK AND MY CAR WOULD NOT BE THERE. There were at least 3 other cars parked similarly. I parked behind the orange cones as they stated. This should never have happened. The male parking attendant had the opportunity when he confirmed I was a guest to ask me to park perpendicular(to get more cars parked for the event) vs parallel as the parking lines indicated. There were other cars parked parallel when we parked. It really made what was supposed to be a fun, carefree day, not so much.
