The owners were extremely attentive without being overbearing. The property is beautiful, and it is obviously deeply cared for by the owners.

our room was on a lower level and did have some noise from above.

Breakfast was a delicious, substantial lay out. We enjoyed muffins, boiled eggs, english muffins, toast, preserves, fruit, coffee, and orange juice. Our room was beautiful, with everything we needed. Information on the area was available and the hosts were helpful, informed and kind. We were guided to the perfect lake to use our kayaks. There are common areas for guests, with use of living room areas, microwave and refrigerator. The hot tub looked amazing, did not yet get a chance to use it. We will be back.

The only thing we could say the was a negative were the steps to the bathroom in our room.

Walter and Jodi were wonderful hosts. We enjoyed our stay very much. It felt like family.

Jodi and Walter are the sweetest most welcoming couple. We came to visit our niece and they made the stay feel like home away from home. I couldn't imagine it any better and wouldn't dream of going anywhere else! Thanks again for such a relaxing stay!

The b&b was immaculate & very homy feeling. Beautiful property. Nice size room with everything you would need available. Wonderful indoor seating area with fireplace & great outdoor porch...and sitting areas. Very good breakfast. Walter & jody were great hosts. Only 15 min. from downtown durango

Amazingly good BnB. Quite charming. Good breakfast, hummingbirds flying around the terrace, nice jacuzzi, ... The host couple is very politely. James Ranch Grill is a stone trow away.

I was born and raised in Colorado but now live abroad. I have not visited south western Colorado since I was a child. There is so much to do and see and the B&B is a perfect base for doing so. Jodi and Walter are very friendly and accommodating. The B&B is in a lovely setting with a wonderful deck with great views. Breakfast was also delightful.

Lovely quiet location and peaceful atmosphere; nice friendly hosts; and fab birdwatching from the deck overlooking the garden. Also loved the nearby shop and restaurant at James Ranch, a regenerative farm

This was an outstanding place to stay. Lori and Walter are super hosts. They go above and beyond to make your stay the best it can be. Every thing was prefect. From the humming birds to watch to the cookies to eat. We really could not fault anything. Thank you for making us feel so comfortable in your home.

That we only booked for two nights and had to move on

Nice and quiet environment and friendly owners. It was awesome to sit outside in the evening and the nice conversations we've had with other guests. The room was good, with a nice extra feature that we could see the stars while we were in bed.
