How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The fact I cant afford more time off work and live 1 hour away!!
Very Clean, Amazing Location, Staff was Absolutely AMAZING!!! FREE Room Upgrade without even asking!! Accomodated our 1 hour late checkout with our 2 young Kids. Bathtub and shower sparkling clean!! Breakfast options were AWESOME with HOT options like make your own waffles, biscuits and sausage gravy, and creamed chipped beef over toast. had hard boiled eggs breakfast burritos amd breakfast sandwiches. Even had PBJ sandwiches, muffins, and danishes!! Very nice price too for a very clean indoor pool, fitness room, and hot tub...

Indoor pool is large and open late, which is a great for the evening when traveling with kids. Proximity to Dutch Wonderland is fantastic and saves you money on parking when visiting the park.
Breakfast was very good and plentiful. Kids loved the fresh waffles. Refreshments such as tea, coffee and hot chocolate available all day.

There is a humid feel to the halls. One hall smelled good, like a cleaning, yet perfume smell, however, one hall was a little musty. With an indoor pool I can understand this issue.
Loved the complimentary flavored water in the cafe area. My daughter loved the hot chocolate. All available 24 hours. Bottled water in our room. Vending and ice on every floor. Great pool and hot tub with late hours 1030 pm. Staff super friendly. Beds are comfortable with 4 pillows each. Nice bathrooms that have an upgraded feel.

We enjoyed the breakfast but would have liked to see a breakfast meat like bacon or sausage.
We found the property clean and comfortable. We used the pool and hot tub and we found it refreshing.

There’s a speed bump in the back of the property and it’s pretty high that can damage somebody’s car and you can actually see that people have damaged their car. The Breakfast is not made for people that have gluten allergies. Some scrambled eggs, bacon, and or sausage would’ve been great There’s literally nothing there for them to eat you gotta heat everything up in the microwave. The only good thing is fresh waffles . The coffee did have a lot of coffee grounds in the cup. I think that’s the only reason why I won’t come back.

I stayed as this location summer 2024 and summer 2025. Breakfast buffet was better in summer 2024. New ownership now and there were less options. Still decent for free but slimmed down from 2024.
Clean, professional and friendly staff, great proximity to Dutch Wonderland.

This property was comfortable. The continental breakfast was well laid out and replenished throughout the morning. The tables were clean. The pool was perfect temperature and clean every time we used it.

The only complaint i had was the bed. It was hard! But honestly it wasn't the worst.
The staff was so pleasant to us. Lydia, front desk, was just so sweet. She greeted us with open arms like we were family. Every staff member there always had a smile on their face. Thank you to all the staff. Every one of you did a great job! The breakfast had many different options! The area was always stocked and clean.

During the busy breakfast time there was only one person trying to keep up with everything which would be difficult for anyone.

I'm not sure there was anything that we didn't like.
Parkview was an awesome experience! When we arrived we found out our room had been upgraded. We enjoyed the extra space traveling with 2 littles. The beds were comfortable, the pool was fun and the breakfast was phenomenal! Everyone was very friendly and helpful.
