Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesIt could have been a little cleaner. The bathroom walls looked like they needed to be wiped down. It really needs to be remodeled. The carpet in the hall was bleach stained and threadbare. The curtains had little holes in them and they were long and covered the ac unit. I'm an extremely light sleeper so any little bit of light or noise wakes me up. The doors just slam if you don't gently close them. Which also woke me up several times. The ac would only go down to 65, which I know is probably extra cold for most people but I'm very hot natured and I get hot flashes. So being able to drop it another degree or two would have been nice, but I will say the ac worked great and I stayed pretty comfortable for the most part except for a couple of late night hot flashes. I think most of these things could be solved with a remodel, but for the price we paid they weren't deal breakers and I would definitely stay again.
The bed was comfortable. The staff was nice! They were out of towels in the pool area and the sweet lady at the front desk brought us some and restocked. For the most part the rooms were quiet. Although people in the hallway could be clearly heard. The pool was clean and I loved that there was an extended adult swim time. The lay out of the room was nice and it was spacious. The breakfast was solid. The prices of the snacks and sodas were very reasonable!

United StatesThe one negative is that there was nowhere to hang clothes. The closet had a full shelf right in the middle of the vertical space, and there was no hanging bar at all. An ironing board was tucked diagonally below the shelf.
We stayed in Room 506, which turned out to be a handicapped-accessible room (though we didn’t need that feature). The room was a good size with a large bathroom. It even had a chair in the bathroom that was handy for holding towels and other things. The room location was convenient, close to the elevator, and the view from the 5th floor was nice. The room itself was a very good value. Everything worked well. Breakfast was hot and offered the usual items like egg patties, two types of sausage, biscuits, bagels, bread, cereal, a waffle maker, juices, and more. We also enjoyed the complimentary cookies available in the lobby.

United StatesThe listing advertises a hot tub and this is one of the reason we chose to book here. When we arrived, we found that the hot tub and been filled. I think that should be fixed and not falsely advertised. We also requested a room on the ground floor but they were unable to accommodate us., which we knew was a possibility. The elevators were old and creaky and scary.
The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. The hot breakfast was good, and anything more than a continental breakfast is always a plus for us. The location was good and the staff was friendly. My kids really enjoyed the indoor pool. The stay was high quality and affordable.

United StatesIt was definitely not as expected! Pictures were NOT what we got. No hot tub(filled in) torn window curtain. Cracked sink in bathroom. Couch was terrible and no mattress on it so we couldn't use it at all! Clearly broken door security. Overall poor condition for the room we got. Only stayed one night and basiccly used it to sleep and change so we kept it but definitely would have changed rooms or hotels completely if planned to stay longer.

United StatesThe hotel is a little warned around the edges. Bums and paint has been used off. Could use some updating, but I do believe they are working on that. Staff could not be any nice.
The hotel is in a great location in Knoxville, about mid point from downtown and also Turkey Creek. So I would say the best of both worlds if you want to get around. Close to the interstate, but not right one it, and far enough away that you dont need to worry about road noise. The restaurants around it are fine. A good Chinese restaurant close by, fast food, all that. Traffic easy to get around.
