Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesThere was nothing at all to complain about. Be aware that the hotel does not have a restaurant or bar - however there are several right in the neighborhood and we walked easily to a brewery one evening.
We traveled over the holiday weekend (Labor day). The island was busy but not overrun with visitors. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a smile and the office staff got us in an end unit, which we were thankful for, due to having the dogs. The room was a very good size. We had two queen beds and it was perfect. We stayed with our two small dogs and we had a good amount of space in the room for the four of us (wife, me and the fur babies) to easily move around. The room has a great bathroom - vanity and sink separate from the shower and toilet. It also had a very cold fridge, which is definitely a plus, as well as a long counter above the fridge area for food and other catch-all items, it had a table and TWO chairs (thank you). Overall this hotel a very good choice if you plan to do some walking or take the trolley - it is not too far from the beach or the Del if you want to walk that direction. We parked our car in the lot and walked the entire weekend. In the opposite direction from the hotel, you can walk toward the harbor and you can easily ferry across to the city - the walk to the ferry is a couple of minutes from the hotel. At the little harbor area village, we did some wine tasting one evening and found a cute french bakery for breakfast one morning. Also - we were so happy that the hotel had reserved parking! Thank you for a very pleasant stay! We would stay again for sure!

United StatesWe love staying here . The hotel is located on the quiet side of the island - a nice walk to downtown shops, restaurants and the beach. The hotel provides free bikes to explore the island. And the swimming pool is a welcome retreat. Rooms are clean and cozy. The employees are nice and helpful. We'll be back again next year for our "happy place" stay. Thank you for providing a lovely place to stay.

United StatesThe bathroom towels could have been softer (they were very standard basic white hotel towels). The fridge needed to be defrosted and had ice built up in it. The paint needed to be touched up in places.
The location of this hotel was fantastic. The room was clean and there was plenty of room, especially for one person. The water pressure in the shower was fantastic, and since I was in #61, I didn't have anyone above or directly next to me, which was great. Everything was very clean, the tv worked without issues, and the place was very quiet at night, even on a Friday night.

United StatesWould suggest the property install blinds or curtains in bathroom/kitchen as the light in the morning or even when someone turned on the light in the alley in the middle of the night shined directly onto the bed. The closet(s) also could use a few more hangers in them, I think we had 5 total for the 2 closets.
Great location, very walkable and easy to find. We paid an extra fee for a parking spot but were able to park our car right next to our room. It was a very basic room but had everything we needed, no frills. We did not use the bikes or pool but appreciate that they were there and available if needed. Basic kitchen and kitchenware was great as we were helping prep some food for a family function the next day. We were exhausted and thankfully slept very well in the comfy beds.

United StatesThe hot water didn't work, at all, all 3 days. So, unless you like cold showers, there was none. You could get warm water from the sink, so, I made due. They made some adjustment to the bill at check out for the lack of warm/hot water. I would have liked a microwave in the room.
Room was good, big enough, TV was wall mounted and working. There was a small keurig and a refrigerator. It's located on Orange AVE in Coronado (the main street), so, it's very noisy with traffic. It is is walking distance to so much, and that was perfect. It's also dog friendly, although the dogs were not on this trip but good to know.

MexicoI have been there twice, once at the beginning of the year and now in December and on both occasions there have been problems with the TV service but more importantly with the internet, it simply does not work.
In general the place is very good, its location is unbeatable, its staff is very friendly.

United StatesSecond time we have stayed here but we had to pay extra for parking and then extra tax along with dog fee added a substantial amount to make our trip out of our budget. Very poor WiFi connection.
Always a good location to walk around to the ferry side and the beach. Had a kitchen so we could have dinner together on Thanksgiving.

United StatesYou can't beat this location! This quaint property is within walking distance to many bars, restaurants, and the scenic ferry landing area. They provide free bike rentals and we had a ball riding to the Del and exploring the rest of Coronado. We will definitely be back

United StatesThe sewer was having problems and our toilet wasn't working so they moved us to a different room that was off the street so quieter, but smaller counter in tiny bathroom. Plus two full beds vs the king bed we had before. They charged us $10 nightly for parking - we hadn't noticed this charge when we booked the room.
Well located lil hotel closer to the bay side with nice market and restaurants. More locals in this area. We enjoyed the free bikes . Great trip in spite of a few challenges with our room..

United StatesThe ceiling fan was wobbly and a bit noisy but at the faster speed. It leveled out. I think it was just unbalanced. Simple fix.
We loved how the rooms were setup. It was like a small apartment. Super cute!! Staff were friendly. The place was clean. The kitchen had supplies and cute color coordinated accessories. The rooms were all nice size and the bathroom had a very large shower. And they had bikes to use. Definitely will stay here again.
