Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe hotel is recently renovated and the rooms are comfortable and cute. There are custom accessories in the rooms and the common areas. There is coffee, tea, and water in the lobby. The owners are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

United StatesThe only thing I didn't like was how hot the room was . I was able to get a small fan but it didn't make much difference so I didn't sleep much the entire time I was there.
It was very much like being home. You didn't have to wait for a live person to check you in , which made it so much quicker to get in to my room

The town was beautiful, the people were great and the hotel was a lot of fun and very historical looking. The hotel could use better photos to display what it looks like for the public to know.

CanadaThis hotel need to self-check in, there is no people at the front desk. You need a access code to enter the hotel, but I got the e-mail from booking.com with the access code at 7pm on the arriving day.
The room is very clean and spacious.

United StatesThat there was no personnel there. That we couldn't get in because no one was there. Apparently we should've been given a code to get in and never received one until we eventually got a hold of someone and they sent it. There was at least one other group that went through the same thing and we were both calling to figure out how to get in. For paying basically $300 for a night this is unacceptable 😤
