We did have a mix up with our breakfast the second day we where there, but nothing major as it was fixed right away.

The Ranch was Amazing!! Cabin was great, comfy and cozy. Love that they have breakfast for us in a cute basket every morning. The view from the Bluff is amazing. We saw wildlife roaming around and also made friends with the cattle. Absolutely cant wait to come back

We chose one of the modern cottages. Bed and pillows were great. Lots of outdoor seating to see the stars. Beautiful grounds with water feature. Great picnic breakfast delivered to our door.

The path to room is not a nice walk. Rock steps while being nice are unevenly spaced.

The property at Contigo Ranch is simply beautiful. Surrounded by nature and old world charm. When staying away from home, one of my must haves is a comfortable bed…and the bed was very comfortable with plenty of pillows! The shampoo and soaps smelled like something from a spa. So good! The views were spectacular whether sitting on the front porch or out exploring the property, especially up on the bluff. And there are no city noises here. Just an occasional cow mooing in the background. I could go on and on. It is not only a relaxing place, but a relaxing experience.

Door and access to the second floor was difficult due to heavy rain and door expanding so we couldn't getting our upstairs accommodation. However hosts helped resolve. No access to Netflix - boxes were not connecting for streaming channels.

Our stay was just perfect. The check-in as well as the check-out went smoothly. The cottage was spotless and it was equipped well. The view from our back porch was stunning and the Enchanted Rock was only a few minutes away by car. The staff provided a nutritious and balanced breakfast every morning so we had a great start into the day. If you‘re interested in good vine there is a vineyard called „Prochnow“ near the Contigo Ranch. They offer great wines for a romantic evening back at the Ranch.

The bathroom was so cold and the shower did not work because I am guessing the pipe froze. But the spa tub did not work great either they needed a part for it and was unable to fix on this visit. So it was a cold weekend that we went and we only had warm baths no shower was working. The tv had lots of remotes and would’ve been nice to have more of a user friendly system or instructions.

Everything was beautiful. The scenery was amazing, must visit the cliff. Area was quiet and peaceful the rustic buildings were beautiful and the cows were amazing to look at too. The breakfast served every morning was great!!

We had a terrible experience on arriving at the ranch late afternoon. The ranch was totally deserted. It was clear that we were the only guests staying as our car was the only car there. There was no reception. There was no one to talk to. The digital code given for our cabin did not work. We had no phone signal and no internet. In frustration we drove back towards Fredericksburg for about 10 miles until we acquired a weak phone signal. We rang several times to the ranch but had to leave messages as no one answered. We drove back to the ranch to attempt entry again, to no avail. By this time it was very dark and we could see no alternative but to drive back to Fredericksburg to try to find a hotel. As we started to drive away one of our phones rang. Ranch management asked what our problem was and had to provide us with an emergency code to get into our cabin. We were at the ranch for 3 nights and never saw a single soul from the ranch. No one came to ask if we were ok and no one called to ask. When we left, we contacted the ranch to say we were checking out and the person we spoke to was quite unaware of the problems we’d had. We had quite hoped to chat to other guests during our stay…but, alas, we were the only guests for our whole stay. We were quite shaken by our experience on arrival, which somewhat cast a shadow on our stay, which otherwise was outstanding.

Our cabin was spotless, modern, in a quiet country location (which we wanted). Internet, once we were in our cabin, was sufficient for our purposes, breakfasts were delivered to our doorstep each morning. Hot water in the bathroom at all times. The cattle on the ranch were amazing, giving us great photo opportunities.
