I didn’t like the construction (that we did not know about before hand). Also our room looked clean at first but it wasn’t very clean (especially the shower) once you got settled. The construction noises made it almost impossible for my kids to fall asleep for their naps. We came back to the room mid-day, but it was so loud. They started early and worked until at least 5.

I liked the location. Away from the hustle and bustle. Near the water.

Honestly the housekeeper could put more attention into details. Bathroom drawers had a lot of hair. The cabinet under the sink was filled with rust flakes and other debris. The show draining sink in the bathroom has a gross film in the bottom and you could clearly see mold and gross stuff under the vanity countertop in the under mount sink. There was also mold visible in the bathroom.

Location was super close to the old town and the marina atmosphere was great.

Neither the website or booking.com ever mentioned that the restaurant was going to be closed for maintenance which totally ruined our plans for dinner. Also, there was not even one hanger in the room and the closet rod was rusted.

We liked the pool view and close proximity to our friend's boat and slip. The beds were comfortable and the property was quiet.

Room security, door locks were old and not very secure. bedroom window shades let in too much street light as well as sunlight first thing early in the morning.

Actually stayed there several times in the 80s and 90s with our children (now grown) , loved the restaurant ,and the room was clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Slight musty smell in room

Our last minute getaway to see the Nights of Lights in St. Augustine landed us here and it was a nice surprise. Our 1st room we booked didnt have heat so they moved us across the street to the king suite. Very clean motel but that room was definitely dated. I swore I was back in 1972 at my grandmas house but it was clean. The resort has a great restaurant and a boardwalk lounge with music. We took a shuttle down to see the lights and wow so beautful. Very busy but it is a sight to see. We are gonna come back in the warmer weather to enjoy the resort pool. Thanks!

The office upon check in did not provide any paperwork containing wi-fi password or how to check out before their office opened on departure day. Weekend staff in the office would not answer the phone, however when you went into the office two people were in there. One was seating at the desk and the other just standing neither one was answering the telephone when it rang. They were helpful and polite but they had no work ethnic for there employer. Children in swimming pool in regular diapers. Parents removing wet diapers and leaving them on the pool deck. Two used drink glasses were on soda machine when we arrived and when we departed. Door to our room had large gaps where you could see outside. Meaning we could hear people talking almost all night long.

Our room was recently remodeled and was very clean. The restaurant was convenient. If you do not like fish, order from the kids menu.

They start modernising the whole place, which is good since the suits really remind you of when they were built. the queensize bed rooms already have new bathrooms and are way nicer.

Water backed up in the sink, a wad of hair was wrapped around the blow dryer cord, took a while for hot water to come on in the shower and the lady who checked us in was grumpy and rude.

Love that it was on the water next to its own restaurant.
