How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Someone started playing really loud base and it lasted about three hours from one to four
It was convenient to where I was going, it was a very clean room and comfortable bed, and the room was really cool when I went in it

Someone had threw trash out on the side of the mountain side in the parking lot.
One of the cleanest hotels we’ve ever stayed at. Staff was friendly!

I was hoping there would be a variety of yogurts and boxed cereals to walk with as rate dining area was a bit crowded and we were anxious to hit the road.
My family and I were traveling to Georgia and as the weather took a turn for the worse, we needed to stop and get some rest to start fresh in the morning. The property was clean, staff readily available and that shower head/water pressure was amazing! We all slept like a baby!

The air conditioner / heater in the separate bedroom gave off a bad smell when we turned up the temperature. Ended up just turning it off.
We stayed in the Superior King Suite with a separate bedroom, allowing us to stay up after putting the kids to bed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They paid attention to our special request and made it happen for us. Also, we arrived just within the breakfast time range, but they let us get our kids breakfast and never made us feel like an imposition, which I appreciated.

Property was fine however the lights outside was shining bright in the room, housekeeper knocking on door at 9am to clean my room when checkout was at 11am and I was asleep. Also if check in was at 3pm check out should be at least 12pm

the pillows were very thin and somewhat uncomfortable, when we arrived the wifi was down and we had to wait to even be able to check in and wifi stayed out for a while after that, wifi also went off again during our trip which was inconvenient and depressing since we just booked this place to chill in the room and watch movies, there was no plastic liner with the shower curtain so every shower left the cloth liner wet and the floor soaked, our room keys randomly stopped working while we were trying to get our stuff out for checkout
size of the room was nice, pool was very nice, water pressure is shower was great, furniture in room was nice

Room smelled like people had smoked in it, and they tried to remove it. Also, a couple of carloads of people in the parking lot smoking pot.
Location was good near Hanes Mall. Property was clean. Breakfast was ok, but eggs were not good.

The remodel was new bath tub/shower, very slippery. I knew to be careful but unfortunately lost my footing and flew out of the tub/shower landing very hard on the tile. Fortunately I did not hit my head. I immediately went to the front desk and filed and incident report and was given a bath mat for inside the tub. We can both be thankful there was not a more serious injury. Two other couple overheard my compliant about the tub and both stated they almost fell as well. I would seriously look into putting down some of those nonslip decals before you have a major lawsuit. You don't fall that hard at my age and not suffer soreness for the following days. Please avoid a serious injury to others.
