Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe bed was not very comfortable and the pillows were TERRIBLE! Didn't get a good night's sleep. Also, not sure what our room was facing, but there were garbage trucks at 4am picking up dumpsters of glass and other noisy things. Quite disturbing, although I will admit that isn't the Hotel's fault, LOL!
The room was clean and the staff was nice. The TV remote wasn't working at first and they were quick to offer a staff person to our room but I fixed it myself. We stay here when visiting family because of the location. They also have free parking and free breakfast. (Which we didn't have due to time issues.)

United StatesWe paid in advance, or so we thought. The money had already come out of my checking acct. Got there only to find out we had to pay, AGAIN. Not sure of the reason, but they said we would get the original payment refunded in 7-10 days. It's been 7 days, so far nothing. They are under new management and this is a new policy. If you are traveling on a budget , beware. In all the years of traveling I have never once encountered this. Stayed at this location twice last year and did not run into this. There was nothing on the website indicating this policy. We will be staying elsewhere on our return back from FL.

Coffee was not even hot. I have had mostly very positive experiences at other Comfort Inns, so I was surprised at this.
