A very comfortable room, spacious and clean. Well supplied bathroom and comfortable bad. Location is central and convenient for sightseeing, restaurants and coffee shops. The staff was helpful and pleasant.

I felt that the hotel was very dated and kind of rundown. I think the hotel charges too much but that’s because it’s summer on the Oregon coast. I think the breakfast was kind of strange.

I thought that the property was located in a good part of Newport and I like the fact that you could walk across the street to the beach or go to Georgie’s for dinner.

Careful driving in and out. The entrance is not level with the road and very bumpy driving on. Beds were not the comfiest.

We didn’t enjoy hearing the neighbors through the walls and the loudness of the running water in the tub upstairs.

We didn’t partake in the breakfast options. We met with family and ate with them. I LOVED that the coffee was brewed and ready way before 6:00 am. Us folks from the east are usually up a few hours earlier than the locals.

A few aesthetic flaws in the room (the wall paper was peeling a bit here and there, but it looked like just poor application). The breakfast staff could have been a little more cordial. But I think there was only one person trying to keep up with the breakfast rush. They were running out of a lot of stuff with still 45 mins to go at breakfast time, and it was busy. But no communication as to whether they’d be re-supplying or if we were SOL. And the front staff could have been a little more informative. She was very nice! But our questions were met with the bare minimum (for example, when we asked for the best beach access, she said to go straight down between two buildings, but no mention of the massive staircase we’d have to take to get there. There were elderly and small children in our party, so that would have been good to know).

Location was very convenient. Not too far from anything. If stairs or inclines are an issue, don’t try to walk to the beach closest to the hotel. Those were some serious STAIRS!! The staff was very nice and courteous at check in. The hotel was very clean!! I’m a bit of a stickler for checking beds, nooks and crannies, and this hotel exceeded expectations. The bathroom was spotless, the carpets felt clean, and the beds were incredibly comfortable with really soft sheets/blankets! Breakfast had a lot of options from waffles (including blueberry batter), eggs, bacon/sausage, yogurt, paste ties, etc.

No shower curtain . Got water on bathroom floor. Couldn't figure out how to use coffee pot without staff help... It plugs into the big lamp on the table.. Who knew? I sure didn't.

There was no shower curtain in the bathroom but we didn't notice until we needed to shower. No one came to service our room while we were there.
