I didn't like Booking.com. They did not complete the booking with the hotel. I got there and the hotel and Booking.com could not agree on the price I had booked at. Booking.com wanted to move me to a cheaper hotel and for me to pay for the taxi to get there! The hotel clerk finally got ahold of the manager/owner who approved my original rate. The clerk knew how to handle it once he had approval. Why was he not empowered to make the decision? They were no where close to full and I had a four night reservation! There information said checkout was at noon. Housekeeping started coming in at 9:30 a.m. When they came back at 11:35, I called the front desk and they said checkout was at 11:00 and they couldn't give me past 11:30, which it was already past that time. Indignantly, I was allowed to checkout at noon. Talking with others, it is not unusual for Booking.com to fail to lock-in your reservation. Their handling of the situation was horrendous. Needless to say, I will never use Booking.com again, which is too bad as I had started using them as my default service.

The property is definitely showing signs of wear and needs to be refreshed/upgraded. Definitely rundown.

We have stayed here overnight for several years. It is very convenient for us to get to, and the parking is good. It is also a quiet location.

The traffic noise was loud all night. I’m a fairly light sleeper so didn’t get much rest either of the 2 nights we spent there. Traffic added to the noisy A/C wasn’t much fun.

The walls are quite thin so you could hear others when loud. It’s also not within walking distance to restaurants. So if you don’t have a car you might use Uber a lot. The pillows on my bed were also too small - like throw pillows

They tried to make it comfortable but little issues showed how the basics suffered. Our bathroom fan didn't work, the telephone was unplugged, rust on the tub, and three towels for a family of four. The toilet is so tiny, like a kids toilet and I'm 5'7". Pillows were feather pillows but we're very small and square. We joked they were Minecraft pillows since they were cubes.

Breakfast was decent, best aspect of the hotel.

The "double/full" beds were pretty small. Seems like the industry standard is queen for the basic room option. When I booked it, the word double didn't sink in as the bed size, but as the number of beds. So that was my bad for not noticing before booking it. But still, they were small.

Hard to get the thermostat correct either too hot or too cold. Our room faced the parking lot a lot of car/truck noise during the night hard to sleep.

The bathroom door wouldn't latch; had to use a towel in the door frame to keep closed. The heater in the room cycled rather noisily through the night.

Large room with a good-sized refrigerator. Adequate WIFI and plug-ins for laptop, phone, etc. Quiet at night, although on a busy intersection.

The rugs were very stained as soon as I walked into the lobby. Then in the room the colored runner at the foot of the bed had a stain on it as well as the cloth chair. Also, the toilet was so low to the ground that I felt as if I was in an elementary school restroom.

Breakfast was excellent! I always love the waffles! Parking was easy and free. Staff was very nice at the front desk and breakfast area.

My one complaint was the pillows they were absolutely terrible. I had to go to Walmart and buy some because my neck was killing me.

Breakfast was good. Staff was nice and friendly. The room was good for the price but didn't expect much more. The shower was excellent very hot and good pressure. The bed was comfortable and very clean. There is a waffle house within walking distance in case you don't like the hotel breakfast.
