Renovating is a mess. Room was not thoroughly cleaned from previous folks as we found water bottles and cups. No signage on operating ac or lights. TV got only 5 channels

The night clerk on the first night was stellar but went downhill after her. Also the parking attendant was very helpful and kind. For medical purposes location was stellar!

Is did not know the hotel I under construction. The entrance/ first floor had no walls and wires exposed. The breakfast is supposed to be included but coffee and to go breakfast in a construction environment, not very inviting. The pool was closed and the room was overpriced for not having access to all the amenities.

The location near the downtown area was good. I ask to see the my room before checking and I was allowed. The room was good cleaned we were there for 2 nights.

The hotel underwent construction so there was a lot of noice and you were confronted with construction workers everywhere in the hotel. The location of the place is fine but it's not a nice area of town and it's quite a long walk/ a drive towards the city centre/ harbour/ any sights. In an otherwise walkable city this was a negative point.

The room was clean and well equipped with a fridge, coffee machine, microwave and a big flat screen TV. The staff was pleasant although not overly engaging.

The hotel is undergoing extensive renovations so that you walk into a work zone and use freight elevators to get to the floors. We booked a non smoking room, but it was not, and they didn’t have rooms to move. They had no hot breakfast because of the renovations, just some yogurt grab and go stuff.

    The staff was extremely helpful.

no restroom facilities in check in area, no real breakfast or restaurant. Great location

Chose because price good for area and reviews were acceptable since price ism our main con sideration. Under construction so only "take n go" prepackaged breakfast like sausage n biscuit and muffins coffee. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only call when needed room service. We both arrived in urgent need of restroom facilities at check-in, nothing available until into room so we went outside behind a column...so be prepared for that. Very coinvent to historic district but especially weekend nights parking is impossible and cars towed everywhere so take uber/lift/taxi. Sure there will be much improvement when renovation done. If you need service, restaurant, stay elsewhere, just want comfortable reasonable place to sleep good place.

In the description, the hotel warned about ongoing renovation. While the room was comfortable to sleep in, the door of the room itself didn't block the hallway noise and had to big of the gap under that you can smell the paint. Parking is limited due to constraction.

    Price was fair.

Under construction, small lobby, no breakfast area, elevator did not feel or look safe, lumpy/uncomfortable bed, severe weed smell, small parking lot/hard to maneuver with suv, cost of the room was too high for the value given.

4th floor, coffee, big room, staff was very nice.

Property was undergoing renovations, it was extremely confusing on where the main lobby was or where to enter. As well as no space for parking and just a really overcrowded parking lot.

Not much, the water was fast during showers and it was within the vicinity of lots of attractions.

I contacted the property to help adjust the dates due to rescheduled flights, but they were quite unhelpful and said they couldn’t do anything as I had not booked directly through them. The photos are a little deceiving as the accommodation is far more dated than it appears. There was no ability to open the room windows and our room was not cleaned over the three days we were there. This made the room smell very musty with towels being unable to dry and not receiving new towels. The location is inconvenient to visit old town, there was limited public transport so we were getting Ubers every day.

The property was a more affordable option than many other accommodation in Charleston

At 7am someone tried to get into my room. Their key worked so he glass able to get it open. Luckily I had the door latched and bolted. I was yelling “go away”, “who’s there” and this is not your room”. He was speaking Spanish on his phone then finally after not getting past the bolted door, said “oh” and left. I was very frightened and could not go back to sleep. Told front desk and they told me it was one of the men doing work on second floor. Unacceptable. Breakfast was decent but TV was set to Spanish so I didn’t stay long. Took some back to room The 2nd valet attendant (Sat 9/14) was rude. The attendant on Friday 9/13 when I arrived was wonderful and pleasant.

The front desk staff was great Comfy beds

After driving 18hrs from Texas to see my mother in ICU at MUSC, we were awaken by construction work (banging and drilling) early in the morning. That is probaly why you had no refunds. And we could have been told that construction would start in the morning. The receptionist moved us to the 4th floor. Once we were moved to that room, the shower water pressure was very low and we did not have good water pressure for our showers. The ONLY good thing for us was you were located close to MUSC.

My mother was in ICU at MUSC, so the location was perfect. We were right around the corner.

Valet parking was kind of hassle. The web page to retrieve my car was wonky and wouldn’t let me request it so I had to do face to face

I like the quick service to rectify an issue with my room.
