Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

South AfricaThe entrance to the hotel and up to the reception is not properly indicated. We struggled with our bags and had to ask around to reach reception.
The two check in ladies were very helpful, competent and pleasant. They did a great job as we kept returning to them with questions and assistance.

United StatesA few of the staff members mentioned that they were understaffed when they could not fill our requests. On a call to the front desk, I was promised a box of tissues which never arrived. The next morning, I ended up getting the tissues myself from a housekeeping care in the hall. Their game room was closed for 3 days with a sign saying "private party", but that room remained empty the entire time we were there! We suspect that they lacked the staff to service the area. They need more Staff! Considering the amount they charged for their room they could have done significantly better!
Its a beautiful property. All of the staff were very friendly.

United StatesThe description about the number of beds is confusing. The loft in total has three beds. One king bed on the main floor and a bunk bed with one twin on the top and one full at the bottom on the loft.
Clean, well decorated, friendly staff

SpainEverything was great, but when I asked for an extra bathroom because there was only one bathroom in our room, unfortunately, they promised to provide it, but never did
The hotel is located in beautiful Coral Gables in a historic building. Rooms are very spacious and are well equipped with everything including the coffee machine. You can get your complementary bottle of water at Reception or use the water in the room which they charge 8 dollars for. We had two rooms on the second floor of the hotel, but because the hotel is located on top of an office building or something it felt like we were on the sixth floor or higher thus we had a great view of Miami skyline from our balcony Upon our arrival, we were offered vouchers for complimentary breakfast and each guest was offered a 25 dollar worth voucher to use either for room service or to get extras at breakfast. They also offer a complementary cocktail which is their signature citrus Sangria cocktail. Speaking about the facilities - the hotel has a swimming pool and a Jacuzzi on the rooftop terrace with great views of the Miracle Mile. Both Jacuzzi and the pool are heated and open till 21:00 so we had an opportunity to relax after long days of sightseeing.

United KingdomFirstly greeted by the very friendly valet staff who took care of the car for us. The hotel lobby is beautifully done, the building entrance is shared so the concierge was happy to point us to the second floor to the hotel reception. The food voucher and free drinks voucher is a nice touch when checking in. We used both during our staff. The area is great. So many restaurants and bars around. The pool area is great with an amazing sun set view.

United StatesA bit confusing finding the elevators. Initially our room was too hot. Eventually the air conditioning dropped the temperature.
Staff at front desk, both day & night shift were exceptional and courteous. Valet parking worked great.

United StatesOur room led out directly to the pool area, so couldn’t keep blinds open, no privacy. Even at 11:30 at night peaked outside and a person was sitting in the lounge chair directly outside our door. Was a little uncomfortable.

SwitzerlandA lot of “empty space”. As soon as you enter the building there is no hotel’s reception, you first need to take an elevator to the second floor. A bit odd, it makes you feel like the building is not designed for the hotel alone, but there are also offices / appartments there. Furthermore, our room (325) was very far from the lobby/reception, it took us a few minutes of walking through the corridors for reaching it each time. Be sure to ask a room which is possibly not too far from the elevators.
Excellent position, right next to the shopping street (Miracle Mile)

United KingdomThe room was a good size accept that the hot water was a problem in the room. We tried the beakfast with the vouchers but would not recommend to eat there again. The location was very good as we used taxis as a way to get around in Miami as the parking works out expensive.

United StatesBathrooms.
Location was excellent, hotel room was spacious. Free beverage and food credit coupons were great. 2 complaints - the bathrooms have no exhaust fans and the fire alarm had a glitch and went off all morning (causing mayhem). Otherwise we really liked this hotel. Good value for the cost.

United StatesThe hotel itself was BEAUTIFUL, but for the price you pay you'd expect more from the rooms, they were just okay, so my guess is the price that you're paying is for the location. The hotel was very stuffy once you got onto the HOT (no a/c) elevator you could feel the humidity, the lower floors smelled like water, like hotels that are directly near the beach. My first room had to be changed because there was mold on the floor and rails of the bed, and my comforter was moist to the touch, again you could literally smell the water and the humidity in the air...
The free alcohol and $25 food vouchers were awesome. The staff members were friendly and accommodating, and the location was AWESOME!!!
