Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe facility seemed to have run down a bit. It could have been better at one time. They had no guest laundry for a once nicer facility. No alcohol but seemed to have once had it available. Hopefully it will pick up for a better stay.
Breakfast was as usual, cereal, bagels, coffee and juice. Good for a simple breakfast.

United StatesPlumbing needs some work. Toilet continued to run after flushing. The hot water was hit and miss. Sometimes it was warm to hot and other times, it was cold and wouldn't warm up. The front desk indicated we could get a new room and said they would call maintenance to check it out.
The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. They felt like a luxury hotel. The breakfast was good with plenty of options for different tastes and needs. Room was clean and beds were fresh.

United StatesI tried to call the property several hrs before to let them know I was arriving late after 11pm. The phone was just ringing it was never answered. My husband went over to try to check in and they told him that he couldn’t because his name was not on the list. Staff weren’t helpful due to their phone not being answered all day! I tried calling from 10am to 9:30pm my credit card was already charged and that didn’t matter, they told him they were going to give our room away!

We needed to use our smart phone put in room# then agree to not hold hotel reaponsible if our information was stolen. Needless to say we did not get ro watch tv.

No driver license. I explained to talk white haired lady . I had to order on online. She looked upset and said I had ten minutes which was perfect . Then she whispered to another dark haired lady . Criticizing the last employee totally unprofessional in front of the guests. Stating that he was simple minded and that he knew better . I did front desk manager for years and that's just self explanatory. To assume what he knows and don't . It was something really minor printing giving out receipts . Which would just be a training with the employee and explain and ask why he did it that way . Then the talk white haired lady exited the room. And the middle aged girl stayed are you fine . I explained . I was passing through from a 12, hour trip so I decided to rest n see the eye doctor . Turned out I had a death in the family so I decided to stay another week. After paying top rates all week. And she shouted no I can'not accept.paper id . No . I started well since it's been seen by other check ins . I think that shows I'm telling the truth . So unprofessional no I need that one not paper. You need to check out you got 1 hr . I stayed well we are also experiences car problems and they taking my car to mechanic any minute . No check out check out. I said wow after all the business I gave . And I didn't get my room cleaned once when I asked to mop and make bed. I changed my own bedding. I moped my own floor cause they was baby red ants . I got bit in my face.
